Nykøbing Sjælland is a nice place with good stores, supermarkets and a pedestrian zone. You might also visit the fairytale Dragsholm Castle from the 12th century. It houses a ghost and an excellent gourmet restaurant. Also visit the harbor of Rørvig, here you can expect a cozy atmosphere, a fish smokehouse, an associated restaurant and the ferry connection to North Zealand. The surrounding area is an angler's paradise. Havnebyen is nearby, it is the only real fishing port of Odsherred and there you can also buy fresh fish.
