This newly remodeled home with a Hot tub and a lovely backyard is situated in a peaceful and friendly neighborhood.

Very close to I-5, CA-44 & 299 within 5 minutes; perfect for when traveling to Mount Shasta, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Castle Craigs, Shasta Lake or Burney Falls! The location is central to outdoor adventures, conferences and shopping in Redding. Within two miles from Redding Civic, Sundial Bridge, Downtown, Bethel and great restaurants.

All bedsheets & pillow cases are hypoallergenic sets.

The home is sanitized thoroughly before and after each guest with non-toxic & environmentally friendly cleaning supplies.

Amenities include full kitchen access with basic spices, coffee & tea, an eight seater dining table, WIFI + Internet, free parking, and a hot tub for a relaxing getaway!
Please note: We keep up with Hot tub maintenance and clean up after each guest to ensure it's working properly. But we cannot guarantee it to be in working condition in case of any unforeseen circumstances with damage or improper use from prior guests.

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please load all the used towels in the washer and start the washer. Use stain remover provided on towels if there are stains from makeup or anything before washing the towels. Thank you so much!

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Two parking spaces in the garage, plus 2 on driveway. City of Redding will charge penalty for guests who park on the street. Be mindful of neighbors.

Up to $1000 cleaning fee for smoking/vaping & use of any legal or illegal weed/drugs on property. Any fees refunded to next guests are also charged.

Unregistered guests aren't allowed on the property, nor can stay overnight. $35/person per night penalty will be charged for unregistered extra guests

Beautiful home that was perfect for our visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park. It was located in a nice neighborhood convenient to stores and restaurants and my three teenagers loved the backyard and hot tub. We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs on different vacations and this was by far the nicest place yet!

Loved this house!!!

Overall Eden Retreat was fantastic! My family and I enjoyed the house. The house was super clean and just as described. The location was perfect. Rachel was a great host always attentive to making sure we were ok. She even gave us great waterfall locations to visit. We would definitely recommend Eden Retreat!

Loved the open concept. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. All the basics were provided (shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, well stocked kitchen etc.) The price was excellent! We enjoyed the hot tub and all areas attractions. I would return.

Exceeded expectations

The property served as a place of solace and rest while my family was in town for a funeral. The owner went out of her way to make sure every need was met. It was so refreshing to have a clean, quiet, comfortable spot to come to during a time of grief.

Family gathering

Our stay was great, Pros beds are cozy, the spa was wonderful, the home was large enough that 8 of us stayed and were not crowded at all. The host was fast to respond and very nice, house was in a great neighborhood close to just about everything we wanted to do,The house was pretty updated newer appliances. Con’s I wish there was a screen door on the sliding door we had kids under one with us and the slider was very hard to open, kitchen has basic cookware very minimal bathrooms are very small but functional. I would stay here again if we return to Redding in the future it really is a great home.

Celebrations in Eden Retreat

Everything was beautiful and cozy. We loved the big dining table and the kitchen area accommodated several people all using the space together. We enjoyed seeing Redding Celebration of Lights as well as talking some river walks. Unfortunately it was quite chilly so we didn’t use the outdoor area or fire pit. The one thing we could recommend would be to have a larger coffee pot. Overall it was a great stay and we were very happy with our choice to stay at Eden Retreat.

Perfect stay!

This stay was a dream! The house was first off so cute, the decor and aesthetic was so cozy! We have two littles and one pack and play but they were able to provide us with another which was so convenient. Everything was clean and easy to find (except we couldn’t find the broom or brush that goes with the dust pan but not a big deal, there’s a vacuum lol) The home was in a really cute, SAFE, neighborhood. We were like 5-10 minutes from pretty much where ever we were going. The hot tub was a perfect way for us to relax after putting the kiddos down, it was one of the reasons we specifically chose this home! I would 100% stay here again and tell my friends and family about it! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Decent house, cleanliness issue

It’s a good house and located near Shasta. Only issues are with the cleanliness. We entered the house and checked one of the bedroom had old sheets and towels lying on the bed, we called the owner she came quick and took away the dirty laundry. For the utensils and plates and stuff most of these things were not clean so we had to do couple of dishwasher rounds. We also saw ants and small roaches and some other insects during night. I think just the cleaner needs to be replaced and insects and termite pest control needs to be done. Owner was good friendly and very responsive. Hope these things are solved.

The Perfect Choice for Redding - 10 stars

If I could give 10 stars, I would. First, the property was perfect for our family. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked - also Hot Tub! The house is also fully stocked for both kitchenware and toiletries. We had 7 adults and never ran out of anything. The backyard is also well-maintained and great to have your morning coffee in. The location is also right in the middle of the three national parks and 5 minutes from Costco and other shopping needs. If you want to get the most out of the Lassen, Burney Falls, and Shasta while also having the comforts and convenience of a nice home, I'd highly recommend this place. Finally, the hosts, specifically Rachel. Between the pandemic and wildfires, vacationing around CA can be a bit tricky with all the uncertainty. Rachel was not only responsive, she went above and beyond to accommodate this environment. She personally spent hours on the phone with VRBO on our behalf. If it wasn't for her, we would have not been able to have this memory-creating trip for my family. 10 Stars - I highly recommend this place for anyone thinking of staying in Redding.

Wonderful Christmas Stay!

From booking the month prior until our check in, Rachel was a complete GIFT! So helpful & communicative, and she makes this house a HOME. Since we went during the week of Christmas, the home was tastefully decorated (not gaudy) with white exterior lights and a sweet little pretty tree! ♥️ The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean (amazing beds!), and the living and dining areas had lots of comfy seating. The kitchen is well-equipped with anything one might need to make a great meal- I cooked several times during our stay! She had coffee & tea available,, a French press ♥️, and even a coffee grinder! The neutral colors in the space bring peace. I found makeup remover wipes in the Master bath drawer that would have been handy had I needed them, fluffy towels all nice and clean, and more than enough toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap, etc, that we lacked for nothing but the groceries! The toilet paper even had a thoughtful monogrammed/ embossed stamp thing that was a classy touch! Rachel gave us space though she checked in a time or two to make sure we were happy and well settled , and not lacking for anything. I’m glad the broom was available for use, though had the vacuum been available, I’d have made use of it. We don’t wear shoes in the house ever, so after opening Christmas gifts, I’d have liked to clean that up a bit more… I am admittedly a clean freak. Haha Our grown kids and younger ones alike loved the hot tub, though I was so busy I didn’t get a chance to take a dip. The outside string lights are a really nice touch in the back yard, too. We loved and enjoyed this property immensely, and look forward to visiting again soon! Thank you, Rachel (& Solomon) for your graciousness, thoughtfulness, hospitality, and great communication! Great home for families!

We stayed here during our vacation to Shasta Lake. Two families shared the house and it was perfect. It had everything we needed, and some fun bonuses like a hot tub and fire pit. Rachel was super responsive and communicative. I hope we have an opportunity to stay here again!

Amazing Getaway

Peaceful retreat

Rodeo Fun with Family

We were all very pleased with this home. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and would stay here again. The location was close to the rodeo, sundial bridge, turtle bay and my Grandson's home too.
