Luxury condominium overlooking the bay of Zihuatanejo, with a calm and beautiful beach behind the premises of the exclusive THOMSON HOTEL.ITS THE ONLY LUXURIOUS CONDO IN THE AREA WITH PRIVATE BEACH .Lush gardens, several swimming pools, including an Olympic one. There is 1 spacious double bedroom overlooking the sea, with en suite bathroom, closet and terrace. Large living room, full kitchen, terrace with table, chairs and hammock, where you can enjoy outdoor meals and beautiful sunsets. The condo is serviced by a cleaning lady 6 days a week .
The condo has a parking space,English speaking staff, lift, air conditioning, 24 hour security. WHEEL CHAIRS ARE EASY TO GET TO AND FROM THE BEACH THOUGH CANT BE USED INSIDE THE CONDO AS THERE ARE 2 STEPS FROM THE BEDROOM TO THE LIVINGROOM.SMALL PETS ARE WELCOME .

The condo is in the same property where the exclusive Hotel is located. The hotel has 2 restaurants and bars that you can enjoy. The Hotel pools ,sunbeds and gym are exclusively for the use of the Hotel guests ,though one can use the sunbeds of our Olympic pool and beach and walk through the hotel to the sea and beach. WE ASK OUR GUESTS TO LET KNOW THE OFFICE IF THEY WOULD LIKE TO USE SUNBEDS AND UMBRELLA DURING THEIR STAY. One can ask the Hotel if they sell temporary memberships for the use of the gym and premises while you are letting the Condo.
One can enjoy the Hotel restaurants while being at the beach .
Along the same beach one can find several delicious sea food restaurants as well as fine dining.
Ixtapa is 15 minutes by car or bus and there are other restaurants, marina and several shopping areas.
The town of Zihuatanjeo was once a fishing village and still maintains its charm with handicraft markets and fresh and delicious fruits, vegetables and sea food.There are very good restaurants too.

Great spot for relaxing holiday

Had a great time in Zihua. The condo has the perfect location, beautiful view over the ocean and great access to the beach. Very clean and all the amenities we needed for our stay. 2 littles things: 1)I thought the checkin instructions could have been clearer, had to clarify some details last minute with Susana, but she did get back to us with the information we needed. 2) the condo is so dreamy and perfect, could use a new mattress. Pretty stiff sleeps. Would return any day a!!!

lovely property

this studio with a great view and lanai was the perfect housing for us for 10 days. Daily cleaning service, one of the best beaches in Western Mexico, great food in town. Had some trouble initially with communication, VRBO site was down when we arrived. Do get Susanna's WhatsApp info before arriving to smooth through any logistics challenges with arrival. Have ready access to your travel resources to learn about location, restaurants and to do's.

Gorgeous!

My husband and I stayed at this property the end of March 2023. It is fabulous! Beautiful and quaint villa. Secure and safe. Very neat and clean. Lulu was amazing and of much help if any questions arose. Suzanna answered questions promptly and is a very generous and kind hostess. The grounds were beautiful with flowers cascading over the sides of the terraces. Easy access to the beach. Very uncrowded and quiet. I highly recommend this place for a stay. A+++++ I will stay here again! Thank you. 😊

A piece of heaven

We loved this property. The view was magnificent - watched the sunset every night. Lulu our cleaner was unobtrusive but did a good job daily. The bed was both comfortable and HUGE and shower in particular was excellent. Spent many happy hours on the sun deck which always seem to have a lovely breeze. The walk up from the beach wasbit much for anyone with a disability or a certain age. Large pool nearby for the swimmers and never busy.. kitchen lacking in a few essentials and stove poor. Office staff very helpful in arranging chairs etc.

Four weeks in Paradise!!

This is the second time we have stayed in Susana's condo on this property. The last was in 2019. It's just such a great location. Two reall nice pools on the property or even better, a short 5 minute walk to the most beautiful pacific beach which is easy to walk and even easier to swim in. Average Playa La Ropa water temp is about 27 C. The condo is perfect for 2 people.. Well appointed with everything you need for cooking and cooling in the hot afternoons. Although, the A/C is not really needed in winter months, just open up the condo and let the Pacific breeze cool it. 10 minute cab ride to almost anywhere in Zihua and some of the best restaurants and friendliest people. We will be back!!

Relaxed La Ropa - Exclusive

As we enjoy our last sunset on the terrace at our condo here in Zihuatanejo, I would like to thank our host Susana for providing us with a wonderful place to relax during our vacation. The condo has great amenities - comfortable furnishings, equipped kitchen Along with 3 pools to chose from, and only 2 minutes to La Ropa walking though lush private gardens where we enjoyed lounge chairs and umbrellas on a private stretch of sand. Many restaurants to chose from nearby.

A fantastic "home away from home" ...

My husband and I stayed at Susana's condo for ten nights over the Christmas/New Year period. For us, it was truly a "home away from home" - in every sense. The location was perfect (a 25 minute drive from the airport, a 4 minute walk to the beach and a 20 minute walk to town). The condo itself was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and the view from the lounge area and the outside balcony was truly breathtaking. There was a choice of swimming pools on site and the gardens were beautifully maintained by the ground staff. Maid service six times per week was most welcome and Lulu did a fantastic job in maintaining the condo's cleanliness. The reception staff and 24 hour security staff were also very friendly; no request was too difficult. Beach restaurants were within walking distance (as was a local Italian) but we had the option of taking a taxi into town for around 50-60 pesos. For us, it was an opportunity to recharge the batteries in a lovely condo in a perfect setting. We had a truly wonderful time in our "home away from home" ... so much so that we will be back ... thank you for sharing your home with us, Susana. Beth & Chris (UK) January 2020

Very nice place to stay

We enjoyed this property March 24-31, 2018, the week before Easter. The room was very, very nice indeed. Roomy bathroom with large shower, kitchen furnished with most things you'll need, comfy sitting area, and a balcony with a bay view. My previous trips to Z have all been to hotels, and this was a nice upgrade for a similar price. The full sized refrigerator was especially appreciated! The room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, and the delightful maid kept it that way every day. A short 5 minute stroll through the Villa del Sol resort to the beach. I mentioned we were there the week before Easter, and La Ropa beach was very crowded during the day. Not a spring breaker crowd, but Mexican families enjoying their vacation. We especially enjoyed watching all the little children playing. If you tire of the beach, the property has three nice pools, and we mostly had these pools to ourselves. I've seen some reviews mentioning road noise here, and it was noticeable during the day, mostly from the balcony. Not horrible, but noticeable. At bedtime we never noticed it at all. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to friends. I know I'd be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Z.

My Husband and I enjoyed so much staying at this Condo. It´s beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need to feel realy comfortable and relax. The ocean view is priceless. The swimming pools and all the areas around the Condo are gorgeous. La Ropa, Beach is unique. The friendly ocean and pleasant atmosphere invites you to swim for hours and take walks from one end to the other of the beach . We definetly loved our stay at this luxury Condo and for sure we will be back soon. Thanks So Much

SUPERBE SÉJOUR À ZIHUATANEJO

Nous avons passé 4 magnifiques semaines en Février-Mars chez Susana. Le condo bien equipé, internet excellent et d'une propreté impeccable grâce à Lulu qui nettoie à chaque jour et change nos serviettes. Le site sécurisé est très beau et le personnel souriant et serviable. Coucher de soleil tous les jours sur la terrasse. La Ropa est une très belle plage, parfaite pour la marche et la course, nos chaises longues et nôtre parasol identifiés à nôtre condo 8C dans cette partie privée. On prend le taxi (50 pesos) pour aller au Commercial Mexicana où on trouve de tout, nourriture, bières, vins... Excellents restaurants à proximité. Merci Susana de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans ce lieu magnifique. La prochaine fois on apporte nos raquettes de tennis..

We loved our stay here!!!

We loved this condo at Villa Del Sol Residencia's. We have stayed at this same property before but this was one of the nicest condos at this small complex . The ocean view was really incredible and we watched the sun drop into the ocean almost every night while relaxing on the patio.Susana was a great host, making sure we were settled in and if we were in need of anything. This was a great experience from the start and a great value for this property .

paradise place

We sadly near the end of 10 glorious days in this cozy cove hideaway. We had intended to look at other properties for future vacations but why? We decided everything we could ever want is right here and the owner and staff could not be more professional and nice to work with. We are 76 and 68, not too athletic, and were concerned about steps...not to worry! The gradual incline is smooth, picturesque and only about 1/2 a city block to the beach. Taxis are about $3 and here NOW. The buses run steps from the condo and a trip down town is about 75c. we took a bus to Ixtapa [$2] to see where we stayed 25 yrs ago. We couldn't get back to Zihua fast enough. It was crawling with tourists, like Miami beach or cancun. Granted it is Easter week but we hardly noticed the difference in Zihua . We ate 1/2 of our meals @ amazing restaurants and the other half in the condo. The fruit, vegies, and breads are fresh and plentiful at both the old market and the modern one. We had the deep, clean pool [down 1 floor] to ourselves. We liked to go while the housekeepers cleaned the apt. Unless we were out on a tour. We wish we could take the condo shower home. It is the BEST. we enjoyed good internet and even though there are a few English TV channels, [CNN] , we rarely watched. We did not turn on the AC . There is always a breeze through the open air doors..The surf and exotic bird calls wake you as the ocean view from bed beckons "get out here". Thank you Susana ,for sharing your piece of paradise with us, We will be back, good Lord willing. favorite rest: La Escollera..opens AT 1pm. bring your suit and take a dip in their infinity pool at the top of the mt. before you eat the best meal EVER. Wonderful condo -- a pleasure to be in.

This is a beautiful and beautifully appointed condo. It's comfortable to be in, and the view provides a nice indoor/outdoor feel, even while the beach beckons below. We were well cared for while there, and would highly recommend this warm & lovely spot!

Everything we hoped for!!

We just returned from a wonderful stay in this great condo! The view is absolutely beautiful, and with the constant breeze, we were always comfortable without having to use the air conditioning, which meant we were able to hear the gentle sounds of the ocean waves The condo is extremely well maintained and very, very clean! We cooked many of our meals and the full kitchen was super, loved the full size refrigerator! The staff were very friendly, helpful, easily accessible and they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The setting for the condo is beautiful and beautifully maintained, gorgeous flowers everywhere. Susana was very easy to work with, any questions we had were immediately answered via either phone or e-mail. One post mentioned the road noise, which we did not find to be a distraction in any way and we had the patio doors/kitchen window open constantly. The location offers easy access to La Ropa beach and to the many pools on the property; restaurants are an easy stroll on the beach and the condo is just a short walk to the bus route, which we used many times. The Wi-Fi is dependable. The property location is great in that it provides privacy. We would certainly recommend this property, it exceeded our expectations.

Perfect Zihuatanejo Getaway!!!

We just returned from our 6th Zihuatanejo vacation and staying at Susanna's condo was by far the best. The condo is perfectly situated in the Residencias Villa del Sol which is directly behind the Viceroy hotel (formerly The Tides, formerly Villa del Sol). The condo is clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated. The views are outstanding from the deck but you can also lay in bed and look out at the bay! The office & cleaning staff were wonderfully accommodating. The large pool (and smaller pools) on the grounds is fantastic but you can also easily take advantage of all of the Viceroy's facilities at a fraction of the price. They charge $25US per person, per day but you are treated like a hotel guest AND they include 5 mini-beers per person. Actually quite a deal. Also, access to everything else is easy...enjoy the beach, walk to town, wander the hills, hike over to Playa Las Gatas. To sum it up, all was heavenly. Finally, Susanna was a delight to deal with. She is a great communicator and did everything to ensure that we had the very best stay. We look forward to returning again and again. Thank you Susanna!

Perfect!

"Easy" would be the best way to describe our stay. Everything was beyond our expectations. We have been visiting Zihuat for several years and have visited many hotels, and condos. While there is not a bad word I can say about Zihuat, I can say that we are already planning or next stay at this unit. The unit was well maintained, and very very clean. Friendly staff at the front office, and Susana was a pleasure to work with. We actually planned on staying saturday to saturday. But while at the airport we felt we would take a taxi back and stay a few more nights. A quick e-mail to Susana and we were back at the beach in no time. Wonderful condo, Great Owner, Friendly Staff, and if you have any kind of problem they will have it fixed ASAP. If you can find something wrong with this condo, the staff, or Zihuat in general, Im sorry. Its truly heaven on earth. Thank You Susana for letting us be a guest in your wonderful place. Wonderful Condo

The condo is very well maintained; it actually is in better condition and has more amenities than other rentals in Zihuatanejo. The view is fabulous! The only advice I would offer is to be aware that, since the building is next to the road, one hears all of the traffic noises. Susana is wonderful to deal with. Other than the issue with street noises, I highly recommend it.
