Perched on a verdant slope overlooking Playa la Ropa, our lovely Zihuatanejo vacation rental offers a quiet retreat in the heart of the Mexican Riviera. We have everything you could possibly want, including 300 square meters of luxury space, two private decks, and a resort-style pool you’ll practically have to yourself. All that’s missing is you!

This spacious and quiet condo accommodates six guests with room to spare, and its amenities rival that of an upscale hotel.

The peaceful master bedroom suite has a king-size bed and a large deck where you can sunbathe while taking in the view of Zihuatanejo Bay. The ocean breezes from both terraces are divine!

The second bedroom, also with a king-size bed, provides sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. The third bedroom features a full-size bed and a twin-size bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, ceiling fan, and A/C.

Whether you prepare your own meals or take advantage of our traditional chef services, you’ll find everything you need in our fully-equipped kitchen. Gather in the indoor dining area for an informal lunch, or dine alfresco on the deck as you drink in the view of the Pacific Ocean. Afterwards, sunbathe by the resort-style pool as you sip your salt-rimmed margarita and enjoy the light ocean breeze.

When you’re ready for a change of scenery, it’s a short, four-minute walk to Playa la Ropa, where you can swim, boat, snorkel, and dive. Las Gatas, a secluded beach you can only reach by boat or by foot, is a ten minute walk from the rental. There are numerous eateries within walking distance as well, including many hole-in-the-wall favorites and high-end restaurants with well-known chefs. You can also drive five minutes to Ixtapa, a small town with two world-class golf courses, a traditional handicraft market, and a variety of restaurants and nightclubs.

Awesome Stay!!

We had a fantastic time. My wife particularly enjoyed the layout of the house, and we loved having three separate bathrooms. We had all the amenities we needed, and we enjoyed having two balconies with an amazing view.

Fabulous place, fabulous views

This wonderful condo was better than described and pictured. We loved the big covered terrace and enjoyed dining on the smaller terrace. The steps and the hill are worth mentioning for those who might have mobility challenges but did not create an issue for our group of 6 in our sixties and seventies. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Sylvia also kept the unit real clean.Nice people at ZIO.All in all, great vacation. We have been coming to ZIO and Ixtapa for 24 years. This is our 3rd stay at this unit, and we believe it is best of all the locations we have stayed at.

Great stay in Zihua!

We loved our stay in Zihuatanejo. Oscar was one of the most responsive hosts I have ever encountered. The stay was easy and the condo had everything we needed. Any questions were answered very quickly and the condo had a great location - only a quick 10 minute walk to our favourite beach (La Ropa) and a quick cab ride to the Centro. We would stay again without hesitation.

Fabulous location, gorgeous view

The space is amazing. We spent a lot of time on the large patio where the views were incredible. Inside, each bedroom has it's own spacious bathroom, and the common areas were very comfortable. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved our stay at Oscar’s place. There was plenty of space and the views were amazing. We had Sylvia cook for us one night and the food was delicious. They had two pack n plays for both of our young kids which was super helpful. There is a lot of stairs to the pool and back which made carry both kids and our stuff a trek, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay!

Spent 10 days at Punta Marina. Condo was just as listed with fantastic views of the bay! We had Sylvia prepare a meal for us which was very delicious and wish we had done it sooner as we likely would have had her cook another meal as well! 5 mins walk to the beautiful La Ropa Beach - walk may be difficult for some as lots of stairs and quite steep in parts.

Beautiful!

This property is amazing. This was our second time staying at Punta Marina and everything was as wonderful as the first time. The views are amazing, the beds are comfortable and it is a 5-10 minute walk to La Ropa beach, which is fabulous. If you have a chance, I would definitely recommend Sylvia to cook dinner one night. She is a great cook and will help you with anything you need. I would definitely recommend and cannot wait until our next stay. Thank you!

Great stay above Playa La Ropa

This villa is a great place to stay in Zihua. It's a short 5 min walk down to La Ropa beach and the place has a fabulous view. The pool was also very clean and we had it to ourselves every day. People are very friendly in Zihua and we felt very safe everywhere we went. A cab ride to town is about $5 and takes 8 minutes or so. We loved our stay here and highly recommend!

My pleasant vacation

Everything is flawless, from the roomservice to the remarkable view to the beach. The place was uncluttered, hygienic and graceful. The neighboors are pretty peaceful and the service people are very kind. Love the way the room is illuminate!

Our stay

The condo is large and spacious with 3 bedrooms that are nicely spaced out, roomy and each comes with it's own bathroom. My brother and his wife stayed with us for just over a week and it was nice for them and us to have our own space in the morning. The walk to the beach was easy and after a few days the walk back from the beach was easier. Beautiful view.

Birthday Getaway

The view of the bay is a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning! Everything was just as we hoped and we would recommend it to anyone. Since we are in our 70's the one thing we would mention is that the walk to the beach could be strenuous as mentioned but taxis were always available if you needed one. We also enjoyed a couple of great meals at El Vijia restaurant on our way to the beach.

Breathtaking views, perfect location!

Right from the booking to the end of our stay, Oscar and Sylvia made everything easy. The condo is lovely, the views and sunsets are stunning and it is a close distance by cab to get anywhere. It was perfect for the four of us, plenty of room with each of us having our own bathroom and enough space overall. Thanks again! 😊

The property is better than described in the listing. It is a large 3 bedroom with 2 huge, mostly shaded, decks. The driveway is extremely steep and so is the short walk to the beach. There is no dishwasher though. The unit was comfortable and well laid out. We would definitely go back.

Roomy condo on La Ropa w/great views!!

We had a fantastic vacation in Zihua at Oscar's condo in Punta Marina, Playa La Ropa! The condo is very spacious, clean and conveniently located on the hillside at the south end of Playa La Ropa with FABULOUS views from the main living areas, master bedroom and two decks (one covered, one uncovered). The condo was fully furnished (including kitchen) and there was almost no one in the complex when we stayed in late November so we essentially had the pool to ourselves! Pool deck also has great views! We'll definitely go back - such a sweet deal!!!

Wonderful Vacation Spot!

Condo was just as pictured, well-maintained with gorgeous views. Had everything we needed in the condo. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio of the condo and the pool area was lovely as well. Oscar was very responsive to questions both before and during the stay. It was an easy walk to the beach from the condo (we weren't convinced from the view that it was really a 4 minute walk, but it was!). The walk up is a little harder, especially with small children, as there are lots of stairs. You can also walk on a rocky path to Playa Los Gatos (about 15 min walk), which we hadn't realized initially and were quite pleased to find that out. Overall a great stay!

Great stay!

This property was great for our party of 6. It was so great that each room had their own bathrooms and A/C units. The patio view is stunning! The walk down to the beach is about 7-10 depending on walking speed. It would have been nice if the property had a few folding beach chairs and an umbrella for when you venture to another beach. We also had Silvia prepare and cook dinner for us one night toward the end of our stay and regretted we didn’t do that sooner so we could have her return, her food was amazing and one of our favorites of the trip! If you stay here you need to hire her to cook at least 2-3x. Oscar did a great job of communicating and was able to have a response back to our party. I highly recommend renting this unit if you are looking for a place to enjoy Zijua!

Great Condo with Amazing Ocean Views

The views from this condo are spectacular. We could see the entire Zihuat bay and mountain range. It was a joy to wake up to every morning. This condo was spacious, clean and provided all the amenities for a relaxing vacation including toiletries and 2x week housekeeping. We walked 5 min to Play La Ropa and stopped at La Perla most days to rent lounge chairs & enjoy the beach. Getting into centro was about a 40 mins walk along the beach or a very quick cab ride. Oscar was so helpful every step of the way. He arranged for airport transportation, responded quickly to all of our questions and helped us navigate COVID testing. We would not hesitate to book this condo again on a return visit.
