Our family enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing summer vacation here and it was such a beautiful setting. The view of the water and mountains and sunsets was truly rejuvenating. And the concerns over internet speeds was a blessing for our two "screenagers" and created less distractions and more puzzles, card games and conversations that we will cherish.
The house is beautiful and it was so very clean! I was really truly impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the pots and pans. Everything was wonderful!
We went for our daughter’s wedding. The home was as advertised! Hosts were awesome as they definitely tried to make our stay issue free. Would definitely recommend the property and the hosts!!
This lake house is beautiful! We rented this home for a long weekend, so our family had a place to stay together for our daughter's wedding. There were adults and children with more than enough room to accommodate everyone. The game room was enjoyed and it's the first time I've stayed in a rental property with 2 washers and dryers! We didn't need to bring anything but food and our personal items as all else was already there! I've never rented a home so complete with amenities in such a gorgeous setting. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful; answered all my questions in a timely manner and were fabulous to deal with. I would definitely rent this home again and will certainly recommend it to all our friends and family!
This was a lovely house in the woods near a lake. It is big and spacious with lots of kitchen and dining space. Its a great place for families with small kids as there are toys and books. That being said, it isn't quite what you expect. The photos give the impression you have lake access, but the lake is drawn down for repairs so there is no access and the view to the lake is quite overgrown. The upstairs bath has a tub/shower that is not working. The deck and chairs could use a good power wash. If you like sleeping on soft mattresses then you will be happy here, my preference is for something with a little more support and nicer pillows. Not bad, just not as good as Springhill Suites or Residence Inn.

Thank you for your stay. We are happy to hear that you found our home to be lovely, with lots of kitchen and dining space, and great for families. Our goal has been to create an environment that connects you with nature and gives you space to enjoy family and friends instead of a corporate, manicured hotel environment. This includes respecting and enjoying the forest that surrounds our home so we can enjoy the wildlife and connect to this beautiful world we live in, even if it means blocking our view. Guests looking for a controlled, sterile outdoor experience may be surprised by this, but I highly recommend it, it's good for the soul.
I don't understand why you had the impression that there would be lake access or that there would be a full bath on the top floor. We took great care to:
-mention the fact that the lake is drawn down for repairs several times in our listing
-not have any pictures of lake access or activities
-not list the house as lakefront
-list the house as 3.5 bathrooms
-include a description of which floor each bathroom is on and which fixtures are available.
We had a nice get together with friends. House was clean and spacious. The walk down to the water and back can be a little strenuous but the dock is nice and good for fishing! Views from the deck were nice as well. The fall colors were starting to come in.
The house was great. There was plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed the lake access and used the kayak and stand up paddleboard almost every day. The driveway is a little narrow but we navigated it in our van every day without issue. Wonderful stay!
