I had a lovely stay with my family before my wedding. Beautiful retreat into nature, the house was accommodating & comfortable & clean. The kids had so much fun in the game room and running around the property. I hope to come back soon. We came from 3 states and to all stay together was such a gift. Thanks Jess!
The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for, and it made me and my wife's big day better! This cabin is great if you're looking for the Smoky mountains, feel and views without the chaos of staying around pigeon forge! Townsend is a very beautiful area with lots of great restaurants.
We stayed here with our family of 4 and a friends family with three kids all ages 9 and under. It was perfect! Super kid friendly and so much fun. Perfect amount of space for sleeping comfortably. Kitchen was fully stocked and lots of fun outdoor play areas!
This property was wonderful. Had all the necessities of home. We absolutely loved our week here! Bears frolicking, hot tub, & plenty of space for my large family!
The property is in a excellent location to the Smokie's. Easy to access Gatlinburg for anyone that likes the activities of town. Also very convenient to Wears valley Smokies entrance or Townsend Smokies entrance.
Overall all the family said this was the best cabin we stayed at to fit everyone's interest.
There are bears that are active so make sure you lock your doors on your vehicles because they can open them.
We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful cabin. The host always answered my questions quickly through the vrb app. We came back with wonderful memories.
My family and I enjoyed every bit of our trip. Cabin was nice and spacious was in a great location as well. Jess was very informative from start to end. I would definitely recommend this cabin.
We loved our stay! The location was perfect for us, close to activities but in the mountains! Super cute! Great communication with the host! We hope to stay again!! 😊
We stayed for a week for a family vacation. The location is great for Townsend, Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, and pans. Jess is a fantastic host.
Beautiful home, perfect location, short drive to everything!! Plenty of room and plenty of bears!! I was amazing to see a mama black bear and her 3 cubs multiple times during our stay! We loved the firepit area and had a blast playing pool! Definitely recommend this location for a wonderful Tennessee experience!
We had a great time hiking in the mountains. We were greeted by a black bear the first morning. Check out was challenging, mama bear came back with her cubs and charged at us while trying to load up the car. No one was injured in the encounter. I hope we got all the trash out. We had to chase off the bear and run for the car. It was definitely a trip we will never forget. Totally awesome!
Nice property near Wears Valley and Townsend. Steep roads to get up to the cabin, but it would only be an issue in the winter snow or ice. Beds were comfortable, Roku TV in every room except the bunk room. Wifi kept going out for a few minutes every hour or so, but we had some cell service too, so it was not a big deal. Didn't see any bears this trip, but lots of people that signed the guest book had seen a mama bear and cubs.
My family and I have visited several National Parks over the years, and this house by far has been the best. The cabin is perfect, complete with hot tub, dart board, pool table, and incredible scenery to boot! Kitchen is FULLY stocked and the bedrooms were very comfortable.
Could not have had a more perfect vacation. Thanks to Greg for his friendly and accommodating personality. You won't regret renting this property. We'll plan on renting this place again when we return in a year or two.
We brought down three families with 6 very active kids! The cabin fit us all perfectly. It had everything we needed for a fantastic time. We did not need to bring anything for cooking and the house was well stocked with fun from outdoor yard games to board games. Our crew really enjoyed the arcade game. The location was perfect! We could get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg quickly and it also introduced us to new adventures in Townsend! The owners were great with communication and also offered plenty of recommendations! I would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat!
This is the best cabin to stay at whether you are in a group of adults or young children. We have kids under two years old and the cabin accommodated the Littles better than expected. I had a high chair available and a gate to off the staircase on the main floor, which was a lifesaver! The downstairs is nearly soundproof from the main floor and upstairs bedrooms and we had no problem being loud and not waking up the babies . Kitchen was fully stocked with anything we would need and check is was a lot easier than most cabins . The wrap around porch is blocked off from the driveway and we could not have asked for a Better cabin , we will be back next year !
There were plenty of things to do at the house for everybody. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean.
Our age range was 9 mos. to 81, with the majority being over 50 yrs old. I appreciated not having to travel with a crib and highchair. The owner was always quick to answer all my questions. I loved the huge selection of game options even tho we didn't get to play any of the board games. The house never felt too full even with 10 adults (we booked for 12).
Our party included 6 adults and 5 kids (ages 2-6) and this cabin was perfect! It had EVERYTHING we needed. Was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The 5 & 6 year old boys were obsessed with the vintage arcade games and the older boys (our husbands) played pool non stop. There was plenty of room for all 11 of us. It’s about 40 minutes to Gatlinburg and 15 to Pigeon Forge so perfect location! There are some pretty steep hills to get there so definitely take the 4 wheel drive during winter months seriously! Jess responded super quickly to all of our questions and was super nice. My son is already asking to go back for his birthday! 10/10 recommend!
We had a great stay at Cades Cabin even with rain due to the hurricane!
Cades Cabin was perfect for younger kids (our 3 yr old and 11month old) who enjoyed having indoor and outdoor space to move about and play rain or shine. It was also great that the owner provided a baby gate for the stairs. We did not end up using the baby highchair or crib, but happy to see they were available.
My family really enjoyed the main living area where all 12 of us could sit and eat together, and when the rain let up we enjoyed a night by the fire. The outside living space is such a cozy vibe. I will miss the wrap around covered deck watching the rain with coffee in hand in the mornings. The view from the porch is blocked from the abundance of trees, but the secluded area and peace and quiet makes up for it.
When the rain poured and poured down, we were grateful to be high up on the hill away from it all!
My one and only suggestion for the property would be an addition of HOOKS for hanging laundry, coats, towels etc.
This is a beautiful cabin, in a quiet community, on a corner lot of a dead end street. The cabin had many wonderful amenities and it is generously stocked with items you will need for your stay.
The manager, Jess, has great communication and will get back with you immediately. Unfortunately, the people who clean and the handyman are letting her down.
The back yard is very private & the fire pit is beautifully arranged.
We had a great time and would definitely stay again...we are glad to hear some of the maintenance issues are being address and hopefully, the cleaning company can get their act together or be fired.
