The General Store is right around the corner, known for its hearty breakfasts and legendary fried chicken at lunch. For most of the year you can enjoy the complimentary Dunes Buggy shuttle to Shelter Cove’s shops, restaurants, and entertainment where they have fireworks and live music on Tuesday nights in season. Absolutely wonderful rental. Met all of our needs. Any small problem was addressed immediately. Great property owner. We will be back again. Great location and very clean. Had all the extra we could want. Beach chairs , bikes. Towels and pet needs. Looking forward to a return to this rental.

This property was better than we expected. The location is perfect. Being a short walk to the beach, store and Dunes House suited us well. Watching the wildlife in the lagoon (alligator) was also a unique experience. This property has thought of everything. We were able to use their wagon, nice beach chairs and even beach towels and toys were there. Not having to fill our cars with that stuff was such a bonus. Tom was helpful 110% with any concerns or issues that came his way on our behalf. We would love to return next year and stay here again.

No trip is successful without good direction from the host. Tom was fantastic. He promptly answered my questions. The property is clean, nicely decorated and has a well stocked kitchen. The view right there at the lagoon was great and very relaxing. As with all great vacations it went too fast.

Really nice property especially with the view from the back porch, made for a great cup of coffee in the morning. Rooms were comfy, with extra pillows if needed. Walk to the beach was a bonus as it let out into a lightly populated section. Overall, very nice stay.

Wonderful place to stay on Hilton Head Island. What a great home for my family of 5 during our 1st trip to HHI! The home is in Palmetto Dunes Resort which recently was voted the top family resort in the USA. The 3 bedroom & 3 bath duplex with a beautiful kitchen, dining area & family room was perfect for us! I loved the beautiful decks & balconies overlooking the lively lagoon. Walk to beautiful beach was 2.5 blocks & very doable. The 5 adult bikes & great beach chairs, umbrella, paddle boards & beach towels were a great addition and cost saver for us! We saw many people renting bikes, but ours were waiting for us for free! (Note- the outside closet has great beach accessories!)
