If you are looking for an updated , beautiful, warm villa, look no further! This top floor villa has been completely renovated with everything you need and more! Enhance your relaxation with the classy beach decor, and all the little touches you get with a professionally decorated villa.

Enjoy the 55" smart HDTV in the living area and a 43" TV in the master bedroom as well as a 32" TV in the guest room. There are 2 wifi connections so you will not slow down with all the users and streaming of movies.

This updated top floor villa is located on the beach path, just steps from the ocean. The villa is less than a minute walking distance to the ocean or the popular Dunes House for beachfront casual dining. You can check out the sunrise and be back for your morning coffee in a matter of minutes!

This 2 bedroom, 3 bath villa comfortably sleeps 6-8 people. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a private full bathroom. There is a new 43' TV in the bedroom. The guest bedroom offers 2 queen sized beds, a 32' flat screen TV, and a full bath. There is an additional bathroom with a walk in shower, and washer and dryer.

The living area overlooks the lagoon. It is an end unit, and brings in great sunlight all day! From the front of the villa you can see the beach access. Off the back of the villa are 2 decks to enjoy watching the wildlife. One deck is more private, with a great lagoon view, the other deck overlooks the lagoon, and off to the side you can view the people walking to the beach wishing they were staying in your villa rather than walking with all their gear!

The Moorings is located in the popular community of Palmetto Dunes which will offers you amazing amenities. This villa is less than a 3 minute walk to tennis at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis complex, and the Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Golf Course. Also within a 3 minute walk is the General Store where you can grab great snacks, as well as groceries, beverages, and souvenir items. The Palmetto Dunes Outfitters is less than a 5 minute walk and offers kayak, bike and canoe rentals.

The villa is set up with a keyless entry system. So, you will never have to worry about the safety of your belongings, or remembering your keys. For your convenience we also are set up with password protected wifi.

The Moorings is the perfect vacation spot for families and anyone who loves the beach, and this villa is being completely renovated with a casual beach feel to make your trip relaxing and comfortable!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please text the owner, Linda, at 502-648-4380 when you leave the villa.
Also, not a necessity, but if you know an approx. departure time please text that time the night before so the owners can inform the cleaning crew. Thanks so much.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please do not hang towels or other clothing over the railing of the balcony.
There are several parking spots under and right next to the Villa. Parking is 'first come first serve' for the spaces directly under the building.

Great Villa and Location!

Everything about this villa in the Moorings was fantastic. The unit was clean, up to date and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable family vacation. The location was great- steps to the beach and pool. A fabulous place to stay!

Great beach villa!

Our family loved staying in this fantastic villa. The inside was spacious and well-appointed. The villa is walking distance to the beach, Dune House restaurant, the general store, and other amenities. We also had a great experience communicating with the hosts, Robin and Linda. They were very responsive, helpful, and gracious. Highly recommend!

Perfect Winter Getaway!

What a wonderful experience we had renting Linda and Roin's villa! The location was perfect for us as we were close to everything we could want during a beach vacation. The unit was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever had, well-stocked with all we needed including sand chairs and beach towels! To top all of this off, Linda was so responsive no matter what our questions or needs may have been. We most certainly would love to return.

Family Vacation 2024

This is the fourth different unit we have stayed in since 2012! You simply cannot beat the location and the plantation of PD. The unit has some nice updates to it and comfortable furniture. Kitchen was nicely stocked. We brought all our beach gear, but it looked like some was available in 2nd bedroom closet. Do the Turtle Trot, bike daily, shelter cove, & beach it!

Graduation Trip

Our oldest child graduated high school so we decided to book our family vacation to Hilton Head (our family go to spot) before she goes off to college. We had a wonderful week of sunshine and relaxation. The unit is perfectly located with everything so close. Pickle ball/tennis courts, golf, The Dunes House, The General Store, and Outfitters for renting all of your bikes/kayaks, etc. is RIGHT outside your door. A wonderful little beach retreat!!!

My family and I were looking for a beach vacation. We love the Palmetto Dunes resort. We wanted to bring our dog this year too. This Villa was perfect. We thought we escaped and could relax. Robin and Linda were great hosts. They provided everything and great at communicating the codes, when the Villa was ready and parking. I didn’t need the extras I brought. Our dog loved the beach. We planned for my in-laws to join us which didn’t work out. The Villa would have been perfect for all of us. My daughter loved having two beds to herself. The extra shower was wonderful after the beach. The beach was so close. We knew it was close to the Dunes restaurant and public beach access. The area did get crowded. The only disappointment was that this unit was close to the road and overlooked a utility area. The unit was so convenient to the general store and all the restaurants. We would definitely consider returning to this unit on our next Hilton Head trip.

Amazing stay! The bedrooms were spotless and had more than enough room for our family of 5 and dog. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for a week long stay. Also, the communication with the owners was fantastic. We will be planning another stay here next summer!

Best hosts, best condo!

Linda and Robin are by far the nicest hosts we’ve rented from. They were so kind, helpful and friendly and their condo was beautiful! The location is perfect and the condo was clean, well decorated and well stocked. We cannot recommend it enough and give it a 10/10! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location within Palmetto Dunes was perfect - just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to check in on our dog throughout the day. The unit was very quiet and the two balconies with lagoon views were a great feature. This was by far the nicest pet-friendly option I could find at The Moorings, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the furnishings even more updated than shown in the listing. Would stay here again on our next visit to HHI!

Five-Day Stay in Hilton Head – A Relaxing Coastal Escape

Very nice villa

We had a great time in Hilton head and at this property. Everything was as listed. The owner was great to deal with and it’s a great location. I would only say that during busy times (specifically in the morning), it could be a little noisy because of proximity of the road. That said, we would definitely recommend.

Very well maintained and up to date condo. Convenient to everything. Proximity to the beach and water front grill was nice. Also walking distance to tennis/pickleball and golf. Palmetto Dunes area was very nice as always. We had no issues, but the owner was very responsive and quick to answer the questions we had. Highly reccomend!

Nice Condo- Short Walk to Beach

This was a nice condo, prime location for our young family. Super easy beach access and great location near the Dunes House! The owners were excellent to communicate with and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning again some time soon!

We chose Palmetto Dunes and The Moorings because, honestly, there is no place like it on HHI! It is beautiful AND so centrally located to everything you would ever want for a fun relaxing vacation. You are literally steps away from the beach, Pickle ball, tennis, golf, walking paths, the General Store, The Dunes House Restaurant ... you name it and its close! It truly is our 'Happy Place'!

What makes this property unique

It is a beautifully furnished, clean villa in close proximity to anything you might need to have a comfortable, fun vacation! Also, for those relaxing evenings after a day at the beach, this place has top of the end TVs, WiFi and kitchen! And, again, most importantly, you are literally steps away from the beach, Pickle ball, tennis, golf, walking paths, the General Store, The Dunes House Restaurant ... you name it and its close!
