An original but updated 1950's Hilton Head home that features a Master bedroom with a King size bed and adjoining bath. The other 3 bedrooms consists of 1 King and 2 Queens, in addition to a Queen futon and Queen pullout sofa in the living area, allowing plenty sleeping for 12. Upon entry, is a living room with a flat screen HDTV, including WIFI, HD cable, and smart TV for rainy days. The updated kitchen includes a microwave, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and coffeemaker to enhance your stay. The dining table seats six with an additional two seats at the kitchen island.

Mimosa is a secluded home away from any large crowds that typical resorts may bring. Rest assured, this home is deep cleaned after every visit! This is a private home with a large driveway for parking, a private pool (heating of pool can be requested for an additional $400/per stay up to 7 days during the winter/fall months--the pool water stays warm during the spring/summer months at HHI), a fenced in backyard, and all the amenities including a washer and dryer! There is a barbecue grill in the back yard in case you want to grill some burgers, steaks, or locally caught seafood during your stay.

When you book your stay at Mimosa, Folly Field Beach Park is only a mere 500 yards away (a 7 minute walk per Google Maps). This beach access includes restrooms and showers. Adventure Cove Mini Golf/Arcade and many high rated restaurants are in short walking/driving distance to this home.

Mimosa has the best backyard in all of Hilton Head Island to maximize your relaxation time. The large pool has a tanning shelf for sunbathing or playing with 6" of water. Surrounding the pool you will find multiple lounge chairs. This yard is secluded with a privacy fence and an outdoor hot water shower. We supply beach chairs, toys, a beach wagon, coolers, and pool toys/floats...just bring your clothes and don't worry about wasting all of that space in your car!

Perfect island stay

Our stay on Mimosa st was absolutely perfect and tranquil! All the beds were so comfortable and they had everything you could need! It was a 7m walk to the beach and very central to other island restaurants/shopping. We will definitely be booking again!

The house was clean, beds were comfy and kitchen/dining area was large. The pool was awesome, and having all ocean wagons, chairs, umbrellas and floats right there made our trip a great one!! The owners were available at any time we had a question and response time was very efficient.

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

We spent a week in this home and appreciated the beach and pool equipment which was supplied. It was nice having the pool. Only a short walk to the beach. Lots of good restaurants, shopping, and things to do in the area. We would definitely recommend this property and stay here again. Great hosts.

Wonderful vacation!

A wonderful time was spent at HHI and your lovely home played a significant part in our visit. In addition to the comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and the close location to beautiful beaches; the backyard pool, large grill and fenced yard provided perfection to our stay. We celebrated my father’s 80th birthday with family that also stayed in HHI snd your home added to the excellent outcome of the gathering. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Family vacation

Great proximity to the beach. Nice pool which was cleaner twice during our stay. Clean home. Comfortable beds. Shower/tub was older with chipped paint but clean. All the beach/pool equipment needed for a great stay. Perfect place for a family with young kids! So nice you don’t have to bring all those beach/pool toys with you.

Our second trip to this property

You can’t beat the location of this property! My family has stayed here two years in a row for our beach vacation. It’s close to stores and restaurants, near the beach, clean, and comfortable. The gated back yard and pool are a huge plus for us and is beautifully maintained. The only recommendation I would make is a few more kitchen items - for example, larger mixing/salad bowls and more coffee mugs would be great. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Vacation Home!

We had a wonderful vacation at Katie's home! Everything was ideal -- the location, the cleanliness, the furnishings, and our favorite part -- the pool and yard!! We love to travel with our dogs, as they're part of our family, and this home perfectly suited our needs! The fenced yard created safety for our dogs and privacy for our family! We spent basically every moment of daylight in the yard or at the beach! Speaking of the beach, it's a short five-minute walk from the house, and Katie supplies everything needed for a day at the beach -- a wagon, beach chairs, and toys. While we loved the beach, we loved staying at the house even more. The pool and back yard are perfect for enjoying the wonderful Hilton Head weather! We really appreciated all the outdoor seating -- lounge chairs for six and table seating for eight! When we finally came inside at night, we enjoyed sitting on the comfortable new sectional and watching basketball on the large television! I love to cook, even while on vacation, and I appreciated the nicely stocked kitchen as well. Thanks, Katie, for sharing your home with us! We will definitely return for another fun vacation!

This pool in the backyard was great. Gets cleaned twice a week in season. Pots pans dishes. Fully stocked kitchen and a grill outside near the pool. Close to the beach just a short shaded walking path! Everything about this rental was excellent. Would highly recommend!

We came down for our nephew’s graduation from the Marine corp boot camp. This house was about an hour away but was perfect for us. We wanted a pool and close to the beach. This house has both. The house was clean, well stocked and in a great neighborhood. The rooms are great size for all of us. The host was great. We didn’t need to talk with them but they did let us know early the morning we were checking in that we could check in early. Which was great. So over all everything was as shown on the site and would definitely stay again.

Great Family Gathering

We had adult children coming to Hilton Head from Ohio, Michigan and Oregon for the week. We have always loved H.H. and being able to all stay in one place was an amazing experience. Clean and Comfortable

Wonderful beach home, clean, lots of pool and beach gear, was able to walk to beach with dog and wagon. Location is less congested than Coligney but easy enough to get to all areas. Shelter Cove is 5 minutes away. Thoroughly enjoyed pool and backyard. Hosts were so accommodating.
