When you walk in the front door you are greeted with an open floor plan and vaulted ceiling. The master bedroom has an en suite and is appointed with a king size bed, flat screen tv and a sitting area for those relaxing days for reading. This 2BR and 2BA dog friendly villa has a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed as well as a Murphy bed and the guest bathroom has heated floors to keep your toes warm after a shower. New comforts are added frequently to make your vacation more pleasurable. You will be delighted to see that both bathrooms have been totally updated with granite and tile and the open floor plan provides ample natural light which adds to the spaciousness of this villa. It is located on the second floor with a great view of the golf course off the wrap around deck.

Beachwalk is a 3 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to shopping and plenty of restaurants. Shipyard Plantation has 2 convenient access gates to Pope Ave and 278 on the South End of Hilton Head. We offer wonderful shaded biking and walking paths throughout the neighborhoods along with a beautiful beach, golfing and Van Der Meer Tennis Club where Billie Jean King got her start in tennis.

Now you get to vacation with your entire family in Hilton Head! Our beaches are pet friendly until 10am and after 5pm all summer and are welcome all day after September. We have many restaurants that are pet friendly along with our outlets and malls welcoming pets. Come experience Hilton Head Island where we welcome all family members!

NOT WORTH THE $$$

Old (furniture and appliances), dirty (indoors and outdoors), poorly stocked and not worth the over $400 per night price that we paid. That sums it up! Just a few of the “lowlights”: No working ice maker. When brought to owner’s attention, she said refrigerator is 8 years old and she just had the ice maker “fixed”. She had her helpers drop off a 5 lb bag of ice. Gee, thanks. Stove and microwave were equally as old, with trim on the latter held in place by tape. Dryer had so much accumulated lint in the trap that the dryer door wouldn’t close. Our daughter-in-law fixed it—we’ll send the owner a repair bill. Kitchen floor was filthy. It’s tile, so could (and should) have been mopped. Only the most basic supplies in kitchen and baths (mostly empty boxes of tissues, hand soap, a roll or two of toilet tissue). Slow drain in the guest bedroom shower—if you’re booking this one, be sure to bring some Draino. We also had to clean the bird crap off the tables and chairs out on the deck. Just a word of advice to the owner—fire your cleaning crew (if you have one). Oh yes, one more thing—I noticed the leg on the desk chair in the guest bedroom is very loose. You may want to fix that before one of your guests actually sits on it (and you get sued). You might ask—if it’s this bad, why did you stay? Because moving to another unit or having this one recleaned takes time and inconveniences me and my family during a week-long vacation that was long anticipated. Shame on her.

Beautiful Condo with Great Amenities

This is a beautifully decorated condominium with all the amenities you will need, and a plus that it is pet friendly, you will love the wrap-around porch, and secluded feeling being on the top floor, additionally all beds are really comfortable, with televisions in both bedrooms. You won't be dissappointed, and communication with the owner is top notch! Enjoy your stay, book now.

Great Location

We chose this property for its location and ability to bring our dog. The location was perfect for getting to the beach, around a 5 minute walk (depending on your pace). The condo was well equipped for an our week long stay. We experienced an issue at check in that the Barbra took care of quickly. One of the best perks of this unit was the access to the beach locker, we only had to haul our chairs and umbrellas to the beach once and bring them back at the end of the week. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a pet friendly rental with easy access to the beach.

Fabulous condo close to beach

This is our second stay here and we love it. The condo is clean annd comfortable. We love that it is walking distance to the beach and we can bring our dog! 🐶 Will be back !!!!

Lovely condo fantastic location

A wonderful getaway on Hilton Head Island!

We stayed at this property in Mar/Apr 2024 and it was all we had hoped for and more! Very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The large wraparound deck with an amazing view of trees and the golf course was a great place to start and end each day. The location is perfect and just a very short walk to the beach which we enjoyed every day. Can't wait to return!!!

We were very comfortable in this unit. The outside deck was a great space, kitchen was well equipped, furniture comfortable, and we enjoyed the use of a locker at the beach. Easy stroll to the beach too.

Beachwalk is correct!

We loved our stay in this beautiful unit a short walk to the beach! Very comfortable and well appointed unit that was super clean. It is on the second floor which was fine with us but maybe not for all. We stayed two fantastic weeks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have already talked about renting this unit again next year. So fun!! Also a great location on HHI.

Can I give all the categories more than 5 stars??

Location was ideal. Finally found a property that was REALLY “just steps to the beach”. ☺️. We were on the second floor and the deck was a dream - right up in the treetops and we got all the sun. Furnishings were comfy and attractive and the bed in the master was exceptionally comfortable. I usually miss my bed at home but this was great. Well stocked kitchen. We were there for 6 weeks and cooked at home a fair bit and we never wanted for anything. We were so sad to go home!! Owner was very accommodating and was a prompt texted!

This is a great condo

We liked our stay. The steps are pretty treacherous and steep. The outside (common) area is not kept up very well, trash on the ground, etc. which is NO fault of the owner. Loved how well furnished the kitchen was. Beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean and tastefully updated.

One of the nicest pretty friendly places we've found

Barbara's condo is bigger and better in person than in the pictures. Great location as it's in one of the closest buildings to the beach in the Beach Walk complex. Beds are really comfortable, condo is quiet, and beach access is an easy walk across two parking lots. The beach locker contained several chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart with room to spare for some of our games and dog gear. It was really convenient to leave our stuff there rather than tote it back and forth to the condo. Barbara was very responsive whenever we had a question or need. We'll definitely be back.

Relaxing Getaway

I think this is the third time we have stayed at Barbara’s place, and it didn’t disappoint! We stayed for two weeks so we were able to fly our kids in for a quick weekend with us. Barbara’s place is updated, clean, with a full kitchen so we could cook when we wanted to and close to the beach! Can’t wait to go back.

Labor Day week 2023

This was one of the most relaxing and most beautiful weather weeks we've had in 25 yrs! Our villa was absolutely beautiful and convenient to beach and pool. We love being able to take our dog. We actually stayed at the Sonesta for a few days before checking in to our villa which is also pet friendly! Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place for pets and close to beach

The place is well furnished and has everything that could be needed for your vacation stay, the owner is very accommodating. We were there during a hurricane and the owner checked in on us prior to it to be sure everything was OK. We hope to make it back there in the near future.

Luxe Condo in Shipyard

My family and I had a lovely time at our second visit to this condo. It is very tastefully decorated with luxe amenities like the bathrooms and kitchen. Easy walk to beach. Easy check in/ check out. It is on a second floor which is not a problem for us, however we do have little kids and the railing was not attached at the top of one set of stairs + there were some nails sticking out of the bottoms sides of the stairs. Only complaint really, I’m sure that is in the process of being fixed. We’d stay again and thank Barbara for sharing her home.

Great stay at Beachwalk

We enjoyed our extended stay at 108 Beachwalk. The property is exactly like the description. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook your favorite dishes, the proximity to the beach can’t be beat and it’s a very comfortable unit. We encountered a couple of minor issues during our stay. Barbara was responsive and had them addressed as quickly as possible. This was our fifth trip staying at a property located in Shipyard, however, It was our first time staying at Beachwalk and we definitely hope to stay here or in this development again! Minor suggestions to maintain 5-star status: (1) offer cleaning services for stays that exceed one week, (2) if the door code is set to expire during an extended stay, make sure to inform guests/renters to avoid possible lockouts, (3) repair the broken hand rail, couple of wobbly stairs and remove or cover all exposed rusted nails as a safety measure. Highly recommend this property.

Never disappoints

This was our 5th or 6th stay at Barbara’s condo. This was our first stay without our fur baby in her pet friendly home. As I told Barbara, my family only wanted to stay there even though our little guy passed away recently. This condo is literally a home away from home. Thank you for sharing it with all of us Barbara.

Great Trip!

The condo was great! We enjoyed our stay. The beach was a bit further of a walk than we anticipated and that ended up being a struggle for my mother in law since the shuttle didn’t run most of the week. However, overall, we had a great trip and the condo was phenomenal.

Our primary residence is in the Atlanta area and have lived there for 40 years. We absolutely love everything about Hilton Head and when the opportunity to purchase 108 Beachwalk came our way we knew we had to jump on it. It has become our home away from home and try to visit as often as we can. We hope that your visit to our villa will make you feel as comfortable and at home as it does us.

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting Hilton Head for over 40 years and enjoying it tremendously. We brought one of our dogs, Justin and in doing so we met many wonderful people and their dogs on the beach, we fell in love with Hilton Head all over again.
Hilton Head has so many dog friendly restaurants, it makes it easy for your furry child to feel right at home. too.
We choose Beachwalk in Shipyard over the other locations because it is the closest complex to the beach. Shipyard has miles of bike/waliking paths, golf that is second to none, and wildlife that you will want to just sit back and enjoy.

There is a wrap around porch on our villa with views of the Shipyard golf course can also be viewed from the deck and Van de Meer Tennis club where Billy Jean got her start is just steps away.
