VIEW SPECTACULAR ...condo very disappointing

VIEW SPECTACULAR....On site staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant owners very very nice. Bear decorations cute. But it stops there! CHECK IN WAS A NIGHTMARE... Many calls to get the code to get in. Including a day before to make sure it was set. There were 4 different agencies we dealt with! Who is in charge!!! Pool and hot tub chlorine smell overpowering for people with asthma. Living room lamp didn't work and was blinking. Microwave door cracked at the bottom.. Carpet gross and in need of either shampooed or replaced. Bathroom had 10 x 12 inch spot of gross mold???? Mold to the right bottom molding next to tub... WHY??? Sink had peeling caulking around it??? WHY??? No refrigerator light! BOTH recliners were not working and broke??? WHY??? People should be warned about the long TREACHEROUS drive up to the condo which was narrow and steep with hairpin turns!. Drop offs were scary. We had no heat and had to call to get it fixed. (Which was taken care of immediately!) Ending on a positive note ... the balcony was BEAUTIFUL and the view was again SPECTACULAR. Just PLEASE fix these things for future people!!!

We booked the place thinking it was a house, a few days before we were informed it was in fact a condo. We were fine with that, when we arrived, we did not unload our things, we decided to check it out first. Good thing we did, it was in very rough shape. The carpets needed replaced due to stains all over. The bathroom sink was about to fall through the countertop. It smelled like mold, very musty. I called the phone number, they told me they would send someone out in 2-4 hours, this was 7 p.m. by the time we drove 9 hours. They told me they would PUT A WORK ORDER IN FOR THE THINGS THAT NEEDED FIXED?!?! I told them they would need to replace the carpets, fix the sink and do something about the smell due to the mold all before we could stay. That guy was quite rude. We could NOT in good conscience lay our heads down in that place. So we decided to leave. We then spent over two hours looking for a place to stay in Gatlinburg.

One of the best views of the mountains from the cabin. You might want to just sit and enjoy the view of mountains from your deck for a day instead of heading out!

Stay away

Location and view were spectacular. The condo was horrendous. I would not recommend anyone staying in this property until management has updated and fixed many issues.
