The space
The home was originally built in 1903 and is currently updated and remodeled for today’s codes and standards. You will find new mattresses on all beds, brand new GE appliances, and a full size washer/dryer. Comfortable lazy boy couches and a flat screen TV make a cozy living area. The kitchen has a coffee machine to make your hot beverage by the cup or carafe. There are 47 acres of accessible woods and pasture for hiking and at the top of the property a breath-taking view across Lake Erie into Ontario Canada. Originally 100 acres was purchased by the Deering family back in the 1800's from the Holland Land company. Then sometime near 1900 the farm was split between two brothers, each receiving 50 acres.

Guest access
Access to all areas of the house, except for those locked for storage.

Other things to note
We have a covered awning entrance to our mudroom, where you can take off your boots and find a snow shovel, ice melter, and a vehicle snow brush should you need them. We do share the property with a separate residence stay in our barn. In the summer months we do allow overnight RV travelers parking.

Steelhead Fishing Trip
The Farmhouse was located within a half hour drive of all streams in Erie. As well as the Mike's creeks in Northeast Pa. Perfect place for our trip. Clean and well kept house.

Felt like home
Our family enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It felt like a home away from home. The pictures on the sight dont do it justice. We would stay again if in the area. Very nice

I grew up in this area and drove by this location and it's amazing view on a regular basis. I couldn't believe when I returned for a 40th year high school reunion it was for sale. I knew somehow I had to have it.

Why they chose this property

This is a great location to be in the quite country, yet a short drive to get anything you may need

What makes this property unique

The property is a great mix of farming with regular haying of pastures, crop planting, our hobby Christmas trees and grape row. It has quiet wooded trails, spectacular across the lake views into Canada, and abundant wildlife.
