This home is also perfectly situated just over a mile from the sandy beach for those who want to take in the glorious southern sun. Creek Family Fun

This is the best place to enjoy nature relax and connect with the family - we loved riding the creeks and dolphin watching - this house gives a different twist on a beach vacation - We did visit the beach too - it was a quick ride to any beach access. Edisto has great accesses that all have a great shoreline 😊

Well weather did not cooperate but beautiful setting, took some great pictures with my new camera! Kitchen was stocked wonderfully! Upstairs great for kids but a little warm at times. Will definitely stay again! Maybe fish will bite then!

Beautiful Home!

We loved our stay! The privacy, shade and view from the home is wonderful. The private dock and boat ramp was what peeked our interest and was so convenient for our guys that love to fish. The house was very clean and updated. The kitchen had lots of cookware and utensils. We did have to drive to the beach but it was not far and we didn’t find it to be inconvenient. The only reason I did not give this review 5 stars was because the upstairs room was quite warm. Even with a mini ac and fan it was particularly warm during the day. The ac air was not cold so the room stayed warm. Night time was tolerable. We liked that the upstairs had several beds. It was good for the teenagers. We look forward to our next visit!

Just the way the pictures looked. Absolutely breathtaking! So peaceful and quiet. House was very comfortable but the property was perfect. Fished, crabbed, went on a boat ride and sat by the fire. Look forward to renting it again.

However the master bedroom could really use a new mattress and the living room furniture has seen better days. There was no DVD player this year. The cleaning was questionable this year. There was a dirty diaper left under a bed, trash left upstairs, a pair of dirty socks left by the bed. It was not typical of Atwood. We have stayed at this property for the last 6 years and love the beautiful views and the seclusion.

Poor Customer Service

Reviewer Comments: I called several days before hand and was assured that everything was in good working order and the grass had been cut after having had a few issues with our August 2017 stay. Was assured that everything was in tip top shape. Arrived to find bugs all over the home, light bulbs burnt out, dirty air filters, etc. All of that was overlooked. Things happen. However after we Discovered a short in the electrical on our first evening and that the dish washer was full of old water we Called in and a gentleman came out. He Said that he would call an electrician for the short and that he knew the dishwasher didn't work and that he had a new one on the truck. We asked if he would be installing it that day and were informed that he had other houses that he needed to get ready for guests to check into and that he just did not think there would be time. So my thoughts are the guests checking in are a higher priority then the ones already checked in? We were there for four days in a house with an electrical short which is a fire hazard and were there with a child with extreme food allergies with no dishwasher to sanitize and protect against cross contamination. No one ever showed up to fix either issue nor did anyone contact us back from the Atwood Agency. I called their office on Monday to speak with management and was told that they would look into it and call me back the next day. It is now Friday afternoon and I have not been called back. The house its self needs some tlc. We have stayed here for seven years and seen a progressive decline, however we love the location. The customer service from the Atwood agency has also shown a decline. As renters we pay for a clean and well maintained property as well as good customer service, neither of which they provided on this stay. Very disappointed with this stay.
