The Möckern train station, built around 1900, is a wonderful Grade II listed building. In the years 2013 and 2014, the station was lovingly renovated with great effort and reconstructed.
The former station masters apartment and the warehouse in the roof were prepared as top holiday apartments. Starting with porcelain shutters, stoneware tiles, wooden floors and restored original paintings in the staircase, a glimpse into the past, which will inspire you. Enjoy the pure luxury of the apartments and the lifestyle of the twenties during your stay.

Absolutes Wohlfühlambiente mit geringem Verbesserungspotential

Wir haben uns direkt ab Ankunft sehr wohl und fast wie zuhause gefühlt. Alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liebevoll restauriert. Der Garten ist riesig und traumhaft für Kinder. Man hat teilweise das Gefühl gar nicht mitten in der Großstadt zu sein und doch ist man mit der S-Bahn direkt vor der Tür in 10min. im Zentrum. Einzig hat es uns in der Küche ein wenig an Grundausstattung (Öl, Gewürze etc.) gefehlt, was natürlich kann Muss ist. Dafür gab es ausreichend Kaffeekapseln für die ganze Woche. Schade war nur, dass die Reinigungskraft erst 1h nach unserer Ankunft fertig war und etwas muffig riechende Bettwäsche und Handtücher hinterlassen hat. Und als ein paar Tage später das Appartement über uns gereinigt wurde, hatte man 3h das Gefühl eine ganze Herde Pferde poltert durchs Haus. Was aber wohl aber auch dem schönen alten Treppenhaus geschuldet ist. Alles in Allem haben wir jedoch unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und Jedes tolle Haus weiterempfohlen. Wenn wir wieder in Leipzig sind, wohnen wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier! :)
