Serene getaway

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend a few days to decompress from our busy jobs. Hacienda Serena was breathtakingly beautiful and we spent most of our time outdoors on the 360 veranda and in the heated pool. Make sure to plan all your meals and come ready to unwind. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The host Antonio was so helpful. He was kind and quickly responded to every question I had. We will definitely put this home on our list of must visit again.

beautiful location

The surroundings are to die for -- just green mountains and the sky. The house is very clean and beautiful. However there are only two bathrooms for four BRs, one of which if very tiny and we were not able to use the shower as you could not adjust the temperature on it (only extremely hot water came out). The pool is heated which was a plus. We enjoyed going down the mountain to visit the river but it was a very very exhausting hike to come back up specially because we were with young children. It would be nice if they offer a ride down to the river in the future.
