This is an absolutely incredible property. We spent a week here in August with family and friends. We were a group of 15 and the house was well equipped and a good size for us all. It has a great pool area, the house is really well-appointed with air conditioning in most rooms and the outdoor eating area has spectacular views. Thoroughly recommended.

We have travelled to Italy every summer for over 20 years and knew that someday we wanted a home there. Over the years we have explored much of the country but the Le Marche region held a special place in our hearts. Our kids especially love the diversity of the region; going from beach to mountains, rural to city. During Covid19 David started scouring the internet for homes for sale. We fell in love with Casa Castagna the minute we saw it. We are thrilled that we found our dream home and are just as thrilled to share it with you.
Why they chose this property
If you love the charm of an authentic Italian farmhouse but appreciate modern conveniences Casa Castagna is for you. The original “coto” tiles were used on the floors, the coved ceilings completed with the original bricks and a variety of wood colored doors were repurposed to intrigue guests as to their origin. The bathrooms have been completely remodeled with all the amenities. Modern toilets, sinks, bathtubs and or showers. Your every comfort has been thought through. The kitchen with it’s 5 burner stove and oven would make a chef feel at home. It was built to accommodate “many cooks” in the kitchen. You will find everything you need to make feeding large crowds a breeze. The common areas; living, dining room and kitchen are spacious with high ceilings and lots of windows for natural light.
What makes this property unique
Located in the rolling hills of Le Marche, the setting couldn’t be more beautiful. Farm land surrounds Casa Castagna with views of picturesque hill towns such as Monterubianno. The “Italian Riviera” is a short 15 minute drive away. There you can visit the dramatic Conero, spend the day at a beach club, or hike in the national parks. This area is very diverse and unspoiled. Casa Castagna is positioned on 5 acres with an olive grove, fig and quince trees. Manicured grass surrounds the grounds which lead up to a “Bosco” or woods. The 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms make it more comfortable to accomodate large groups or several different families vacationing together. The other 2 rooms share a bathroom and there is an additional half bath on the main floor.
