Business stay

Minor issues with lack of dish/hand soap and paper towels. No food seasonings. Overall it fit our needs while working out of town.

Country Retreat Perfection

My family and I stayed here over Christmas so that we could be close to my sister and her family. The location was just minutes from the convenience of Walnut Creek but felt like we were worlds away. The space was plenty big and while we didn’t spend much time there, had everything we needed. We really enjoyed seeing the sheep, deer, and wild turkeys. I only had to contact Alex once but we was super responsive. This is a great place that we would book again for other family get gatherings.

This spot was perfect for us and our dogs

This is a garage-turned-dwelling. It’s nothing special. But it is in such a beautiful setting in the hills of Walnut Creek. Minutes from Castle Rock Park. The host is friendly and helpful. The view is really nice! It was the perfect spot for 2 adults and 2 large dogs to layover in between selling our home and moving into our next home. The kitchen has a few basics. The laundry is very conveniently located in the unit and the bathroom is huge. We really appreciate Alex letting us stay on his property. We enjoyed taking our dogs walking thru the neighborhood and local trails.

Spacious, comfy and a little quirky

This space is lovely in that it’s big and roomy. It was comfortable and a really great accommodation for us and our two dogs. So we will definitely return. That being said, the cottage is a converted garage and there are some vestiges of its former self like a garage door opener on the ceiling of the bedroom. There’s lots of excess furniture like many empty book cases just hanging around. And there is a door to the front porch in the bathroom. So if you’re tolerant of quirky, and you like space to spread out, this is a good space for you.
