The two-story home features comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, tasteful décor, and professional cleaning. Outdoors, relax on the deck, enjoy the covered picnic area, or fire up the propane BBQ. Four fireplaces/stoves and upstairs A/C (May–September) keep everyone comfortable. Entertainment includes TVs, internet, and DVDs, plus a private boat launch and slip in summer.

Located at the entrance to Big Cove, with nearby boat and Jet Ski rentals. Wally's Peninsula Market, restaurants, trails, and Mt. Lassen National Park are just minutes away. The warm, wind-protected waters of Lake Almanor offer boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and swimming year-round.

A perfect retreat for families, friends, or anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and outdoor adventure.

We are located just west of Susanville, CA, off Hwy. 36. Parking for your cars and boat trailers is abundant. If you require a smaller space, we also own cabin #7 which is a 2 bedroom/2bath and sleeps 6 comfortably.

4. You’ll love this beautiful rural area and location. Native wildlife and insects share this amazing world too. To keep out the wildlife, bugs and critters, please remember to close doors and windows that don’t have screens on them. Don’t leave food out or crumbs on the counters, tables, furniture or beds to help keep those unwanted pests out. The home and property is treated regularly, seeing dead bugs doesn’t mean there is an infestation but that the treatment is working.

Fantastic location

Property was clean and well stocked. Property manager was on site and very helpful with explaining things in house and had great recommendations for local restaurants. House was located right on lake. Our extended family had a great time. Thank you!

Great location at Lake Almanor!

My family had a wonderful time at Lake Almanor. We loved the location of this cabin right on the lake. The views were beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting out front on the deck and grass area. Communication with the owner was very good.

This cabin was perfect for our family!!

The cabin is very clean, well decorated and perfectly stocked with amenities. We loved having lunch on the deck while enjoying the view of Lake Almanor. We had a lot of family staying at a resort just down the road and everyone would come over after dinner for a fire and s'mores around the provided fire ring. It was the perfect setting! We will definitely rent this cabin again!

Lake Almanor

We had an amazing time. The house was great. Plenty of room for everyone. The view from the deck was beautiful. We especially love that the deck had a gate on it. It kept the dog from getting out (to chance the squirrels of course). Can't wait for next summer to come back.

Beautiful View

The cabin was warm and inviting when we got there. Everything was clean. 3 of the bedrooms have a beautiful view of the lake. We loved spending time on the deck which has a full view of the lake. Our family had a great experience. Thank you!

Golf trip with the boys

Had a great time with friends at the property. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. Close to golf and restaurants where we wanted to meet others. The view of the lake was very beautiful and relaxing. Had plenty of privacy for us and enough bedrooms to accommodate. When we arrived at night, we found our parking was being used up by 4 boat trailers that weren't in our group.

We think your location is the pearl of the lake.....love Big Cove, love being at the entrance of the cove and watching all the action, love the swim-hole the logs provide, love all of Almanor Lakeside Resort, such a charming old-time America atmosphere, but the location of Cabin 11 is dreamy. All your remodel and decorations are so homey and welcoming. Thank You so much for sharing with us!

First the good. Local host was great! Great location with wonderful view of lake and easy access to lake, boat ramp and dock with assigned slip. Also close to store and restaurants. Kitchen well equipped and WiFi was very good (wife held several video conference calls). Master BR was nice, spacious and had a nice view of lake. Pleased to have a child gate at top of stairs and slider door at bottom of stairs to close off downstairs from upstairs. Deck is spacious with a nice table, view, plenty of functional plastic chairs (very basic) and a good BBQ. Great parking.Now the “Not so Good”. Cleanliness could have been better. Living room rug was dirty, dirt under rug and in corners. Downstairs smelled musty and tables outside were dirty. Worth mentioning in light of the fact that we pay cleaning fee.This is not a home by itself on a piece of property. It’s one of 11 cabins on the property. There are other cabins connected to it and adjacent to it. Didn’t get this from property description. Was surprised to be part of cabin community, much like going to an upgraded PG&E/PSEA location if you’ve ever been to one.The floor plan was also different than expected. There are two rooms upstairs (Master and Room with Bunk Beds) but only one small bathroom that must be shared by the two rooms. Not enough towels. Living Room was smaller than expected. Pics made it seem much larger. Stand alone A/C unit is small but helps. 1.5 rolls of TP and 1 roll of paper towels (enough said).

Everything about cabin 11 was excellent it’s a great place to stay. The only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses and provide cotton bedding and sheets.

Perfect stay

This was the perfect trip! Two families easily shared the space. Cabin was well stocked, a short walk to Red Onion and the market. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lication

Beautiful location, excellent amenities. Protected cove and dedicated slip for small boats, especially our sailboat. There was no steel brush to clean to clean the grill, as we were asked to do. The grill was dirty when we arrived, so there likely has been no equipment to clean the grill for some time. We found a dirty dish and some trash inside a dresser drawer. Housekeeping should check on that. Rental Advisor said they would consult with the owner for permission to bring our dog, but they never got back to us. So we had to leave her home.

Beautiful, lakefront house!

The house is very nice and has everything renters could need! The deck has such an awesome view of the lake and is huge and nice! Bedrooms are comfortable, large and nice! Only issue we had pertained to booking dates. I had made a change of the dates about 4 weeks in advance but the property manager did not know I made this change.

Gorgeous views

My family and I have been staying at this pet friendly cabin for the past10 yrs and have been coming to this lake going on 15 years now..All the amenities are conveniently nearby. you have a short five minute walk to the local store that has the best fresh daily baked croissant cinnamon rolls as well as chocolate chip and chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies. Our favorite! Also, If you own a boat, you can conveniently gas up at the marina in the same Cove as the cabin.. if you enjoy fishing and want to charter a boat, I highly recommend mike’s Lake Almanor guide service 530-383-7785 Coming here never gets old! My only complaint is our stay goes by way too fast!
