Perfect for adults looking for peace and relaxation. Teens find Jekyll a little too quiet. Unit was in very good condition considering property built in ‘73. About 70% of the unit updated very well. Villas was well maintained and clean.

Stolen Moments in July 2023

Adequate. Good amenities and location. Used pool and coin operated laundry. Property could use a deeper cleaning and light maintenance to unclog sinks and address loose knobs, stuck drawers, random items stuffed in closets. Pool was a plus until last nights of stay when guests were in pool and loudly enjoying themselves well into the night (until 3am); wasn't an issue at beginning of stay. Overall it was adequate for adults and enjoyed by the kids.

Good for the bare necessities

We were extremely disappointed that the beach access hasn't been fixed. All of the stair boards are waiting next to the stairs, but just haven't been affixed to the last few steps. This definitely downgraded our experience. Also, the cleanliness of the unit was terrible. There was leftover food bits on every floor, items from past guests under furniture, and the sheets and towels had hairs and stains on them. It appeared that the bare minimum was done to make the unit appear as though it had been cleaned. All that being said, the location with a pool and playground was perfect for the kids and they didn't notice anything wrong. I just expected better given the amount of money it cost to rent.

The closet was soaking wet and moldy with a whole in the ceiling. This is obviously not just happened so I was baffled at how cleaning crew could have missed it. We were lucky to have rented through Jekyll Realty who found us a suitable substitute within hours. They provided everything we needed and even offered to move our stuff to the new site. I will use Jekyll realty for all my future trips to the island

Bring your own non-stick or other favorite pans as the pots/pans provided are not okay. Dishes and glasses, silverware and utensils are fine. Bring your own pillow if you are picky. They’re due for replacement. We spied this rental on the website for sale! Hope the new owner only improves on it.

Love the location and convenience. Love the decor and everything we needed was provided. Unfortunately, i will need a more senior friendly unit the next time. Too many steps and i haven’t seen a toilet that low in years. The bed was so high I had to use the kitchen stepstool to get in. But, that’s all on me. I should have done a little more research. All and all it was a great trip.

One of the best experiences here on Jekyll! We h One of the best experiences here on Jekyll! We have been renting homes here on the island for 20 years and this condo exceeds all the others. This is a one of a kind unit with a custom wall mural of Driftwood beach that is absolutely incredible. This unit had all of the necessities and more and was furnished better than any other unit or home we’ve ever stayed in. This is the perfect place to stay if you have a family or even for newlyweds. It’s just a few steps from the beach, Driftwood Bistro, and overlooks the pool. This unit was extremely quiet, comfortable, and spacious. Other than a few issues that were quickly resolved involving linens our stay was great. The condo was very clean and well stocked. I do recommend bringing your own towels as what is provided definitely did not last this family of four for nine days. When asked to get more, I was told we would have to wash them ourselves and who wants to do laundry on vacation? Cannot wait to come back next year.

So comfortable and convenient!

We adored this condo. Very comfortable & cute. Very close to the beach too. If only the weather had cooperated, but late October is unpredictable. Would definitely stay there again. A smart tv in the LR would be great…but the lack of one did not impact our enjoyment at all! But others might want that. Comfy beds. Nice & quiet during our stay. Great property managers!
