Easter Break

Wonderful Easter holiday with our family in this beautiful mountain home - stunning views! And bears! just observed from a distance being bears on their nightly walks. Quick access to the national park and downtown Gatlinburg. Morning coffee on the deck with the mountain sunrise and evenings under the stars in the hot tub. 10/10

Nice Mountain House

We have stayed in several VRBO homes and this is one of the nicest. The house was very clean. Everything functioned nicely. The views were absolutely beautiful. The washer and dryer make for convenient washing of clothes. The houses here are far enough apart that you don't hear people partying in neighboring houses unless you're outside and even then they were not unreasonably loud. My only words of caution would be that if you don't like driving up windy mountain roads, you may not like the drive up to this house. They're windy, but not as dangerous as some mountain roads I've been on.

Cannot say enough good things about this property and the owners. The view was stunning, the home was beautiful and clean, and the owners were amazing to work with. I would 10/10 stay here again - truly a wonderful experience.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

From check in, to communication with the host, to the cabin itself it was an incredible weekend. Views were amazing, tons of space in the cabin, and fully equipped with anything you need. We barely left all weekend! Highly recommend!

Wonder Trip

The house is beautiful inside and out. The view from the windows is worth driving up the sometimes a little scary roads. The house was a quick drive to any of the activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will be return visitors!

This place was amazing and everything it claimed to be. It's one of the few times I didn't have to scratch my head wondering how the online pictures could be so different than that real thing.The location is super convenient and the accommodations are great. The den area is a perfect space to hang out around the fire and visit with family. The pool table is actually level and there's plenty of room to in the room so you don't worry about getting skewered by an errant cue.Blake was quick to respond to my messages and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The bottom line is that you cannot go wrong with this place. We will be back.

Lovely place to spend your vacation

This place is by far the best vacation rental I’ve had. The views are outstanding, the place is clean, beds are comfortable… we had no issues at all and more than enough cooking pots and pans and even crockpots if we wanted… pleasantly surprised. Very adequately stocked, towels and water pressure was great. We didn’t use the hot tub due to the weather but that would have been really nice… very pleased. Would stay again. Will definitely check out the other listings they have as well. Oh, and no, they are NOT KIDDING about the bears. One tried to get in our car. There were tracks along with mud on my door handle along with paw prints on the front door. Lock them cars…… lol. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Christmas Get Away

Awesome views, plenty of room, convent location. I would pay attention to the weather in case of snow travel and it would be very nice to have blinds as an option for the large windows. Very nice place !

Beautiful view and lots of space

Recommend this rental. Location was windy to get to but nothing too crazy, especially in the daylight. The view was worth it! Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 small kids. The living room is perfect for family movie or game night. Blake’s communication was top tier! He was so helpful with any question we had. Check in was a breeze with the code. My only critique was the cleanliness of the property. Towels were falling apart, shower fixtures were moldy, old items were left in the shower. This would not prevent us from staying there again, just a note for the owner as something to maybe update.

Best stay in Gatlinburg we have ever had.

We take a family trip to the gatlinburg area every year. This was by far the best trip we have taken. The place was exactly as described and very spacious. The view can not be forgotten, it was an amazing place to stay and the property manager was great and sent us plenty of advice and tips to make the stay even better. We will definitely use this property or one of their others on our next trip.

Beautiful and comfortable.

We stayed for a week at Viewtopia and had an amazing time. The views are absolutely stunning, and the house had everything we needed. The furniture was comfortable too, which isn't always the case when we stay in a vacation rental. Blake, our host, is very responsive and friendly, and check-in and checak-out were very easy. The house is located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so it's convenient to both towns without the hassle of driving through the traffic of one to get to the other. It is away from the hustle and bustle of being in town, but only a short drive to town, so you get the peace and quiet you need to relax while also being able to easily get to all the attractions and restaurants. The road up to the house is windy and a bit steep in parts, but a front wheel drive car can easily make it up the roads. We would definitely stay at Viewtopia again!

Great view

We enjoyed this house very much. No issues with check in. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked with cookware and kitchen appliances. A keurig, a drip maker, an espresso pot and a kettle for tea were all provided as well as two crock pots. This place is great for family and kids. The view was incredible and the house stayed cool despite all the windows. No maintenance problems, the house is in very good shape. My only complaint is the linens. There were no dish cloths or sponges, one towel and wash cloth per person is simply not enough(6 towels/6wash cloths) We had to wash towels every other day. There were no extra pillow cases although the closet was full of extra pillows. I would definitely stay here again, but bring my own towels. One of the most fun things was that a young bear came by to check our trash can everyday at 5:45 pm and try to open the car door. Maybe a big note on the fridge to be sure and lock your car immediately.

Great views

We had a great time here. The views were amazing! We saw a mama bear and her two cubs from the front windows. The location to Gatlinburg, pigeon forge, and the national park was great. We would stay here again. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans we needed.

Breathtaking!

This property is amazing. It is exactly as described, and then some! We were looking for a plane with a view and Viewtopia did not disappoint. Enjoying my morning coffee overlooking the Smokies was perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large, the beds comfortable. We found everything we needed for a great family vacation. We didn't see any bears at the property but they were there. Footprints on the front steps, and we could tell they checked out our cars - be sure to not leave any food in there, those locked doors won't stop then! The trip up and down the mountain was a bit scary the first time but we quickly got used to it. I would recommend not getting there the first time after dark. This home certainly did not disappoint, and Blake was very responsive to our questions and had some good suggestions.

Wonderful Stay

My family of 5 had a wonderful time staying here. Late afternoons on the deck with the beautiful views all around was one of our daily rituals. You can barely notice the other houses nearby, such peace and solitude. House was clean and had everything we needed. Communication was great, and the entire process was seamless. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Mountain Dream House!

I travel a lot and consider myself a picky traveler. I'll give you the good, bad and ugly. However, I STRUGGLED to come up with anything bad about this house. IT was simply spectacular! Don't hesitate to book this house. It is everything described and more! The views alone are unreal. The house has everything you need for a great stay. My only complaints? There were only a few hangars in the closets (and a few of them were unusable) and there really isn't any pantry space for food. The road to the house can be dicey. Lots of narrow turns, so we just preferred to be back to the house by dark. That was just our preference though. Literally, that's the worst of it, so consider yourself fortunate you found this booking because it's WORTH EVERY PENNY! The host, Blake, was beyond fantastic. Addressed any concern right away. We saw bears every day. A bear smashed a neighbor's front car windshield looking for food. So, when they tell you not to eat or leave food in your car, make sure you do it. He came looking to our SUV (per the pawprints on the door handle), but didn't find anything. Another neighbor was foolish and left trash OUTSIDE the locked trash cans. Mama and her three cubs were on the scene soon after. So, even if you're careful, your neighbors may not be. It was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend this property and its host!

Perfect location for all things in Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg. Views were incredible and there was plenty of space for our group. Check in and check out process was seamless. Would highly recommend Viewtopia!

Beautiful views

The property had beautiful panoramic views of the mountains. Great location minutes from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the national park. Property was clean. Beds were comfortable. Had a great vacation with my family of 5. Will be coming back.

Why they chose this property

The property hands down has the best view in all of the Smokies. Being part of the North Chalet Village area of Ski Mountain, and being one of the few homes with an unobstructed south facing view, you have an absolute panoramic view of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. In addition, the roads to and from the cabin are all city roads that are well taken care of, and you're only about 10 minutes from the heart of Gatlinburg.
