The Tin Can

Our stay was very pleasant. The cabin was everything we were looking for and needed. It was a peaceful place to stay while visiting Eminence and visiting the surrounding Springs and Kayak the Current river. Mary Kaye was quite welcoming, accommodating and informative. She look into other activities we could do in the area. We would recommend and would stay with her again!

Place in the woods

Awesome cabin, with plenty of wild life. A study vehicle is needed for the lane there. We will be back again.

Perfect Stay!

We loved our stay at this property. As other reviews have mentioned the cabin is very well appointed with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great, two very important things after a long day at the river!

Wonderful property

We had a great stay at the cabin for our kayak weekend. Mary Kay was very proactive and communicative from the start and we felt very welcomed. The property itself is peaceful and quiet, we felt very safe. The cabin had everything you would need and was very clean, there were a lot of nice touches. We really enjoyed the nice grilling area and fire pit as well!

Secluded cute cabin

Location is gorgeous, very much lost in the woods. Just beware of acorn and hickory nut falling season. Very loud racket from the tin roof.

Loved this cabin and property!

Clean and very comfortable. Loved the cabin decor. The owners have thought out every little detail to make you feel at home. Beautiful property to walk around. Longhorn cattle there too! Close to all the state park sites we wanted to see. Such a fun stay! Would definitely live to stay there again.

Forest oasis

Owner/manager of the property was amazing. Allowed us to ride our side by side and 4 wheelers around their 500+ acres of property. Running right next to a river. Beautiful views. The cabin was very clean. It was literally in the middle of the forest. Long dirt road to get there and then a long drive way to the house, but worth it 100%. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and Unique

The cabin sits on a beautiful property, remotely located but close to Eminence. We enjoyed the peaceful environment, view, wildlife (and longhorn cattle)! The cabin is so cute! I will say, it’s best to have a 4 wheel drive SUV or truck. The road coming into the property is a little precarious. Going down isn’t too bad but coming up can be tricky! A small car would definitely struggle and quite possibly not make it. Mary Kay is the sweetest host! Great communication and will go above and beyond for her guests.

Beautiful view!

My family and I stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. It was me, my husband, my mom and 3 kids. 7, 4 and almost 2. We had an excellent time. Mary was very sweet and made sure that we had a wonderful time. She was very good at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was very unique and had a lot of interesting features. My 7 year old loved the lofted bedroom area. The place was brand new and super clean. We had plenty of room to spread out. The night sky was amazing and we enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. There is a road leading down to the river that Mary will tell you about. It's a short drive to a beautiful place to swim. We did have to cross the river with our things to get to the gravel bar, but it was not a big deal. Do beware that the drive in and out of the property is a bit rugged. We have a Toyota sienna mini van and did fine. Just take it slow. we were within 30 minutes of Echo Bluffs, great kayaking and Rocky falls. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to go back again.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was fabulous! If you like refined rustic this is the place to stay. There was nothing else we needed to have a memorable experience. Lane, the owner made it all happen seamlessly. Will definitely stay again when in Eminence.

Family float trip

A cozy place with plenty of room for our group that included 3 college age kids. We enjoyed playing games, cooking out and looking at the stars. Enjoyed the dairy shack in eminence after floating the Jacks Fork. Hosts were very helpful and kind. Thank you!

Perfect! Just what we needed for our float trip-we had a bonus bc rained first night and we got to fall asleep to rain on a tin roof. Had everything we needed and it’s absolutely fabulous for well-behaved dogs with it being fenced in. Cozy and great place to bond after floating

My son and I are starting an adventure and hope that you will share in this adventure with us. I have been in a different business most of my life for other people and just decided to set out on a new adventure of my own. My youngest son wants to stay in the area and needed something to work toward. We came up with cabin rental. We get to meet new people all the time and share with them our piece of paradise.

Why they chose this property

A great property for cabin rental

What makes this property unique

We have a ramp for a wheelchair and a good size covered front deck. A large yard with a nice size firepit is available as well as nice size rooms.
