About this property

Secluded Cabin on Current River Waterfront

Private, two-bedroom cabin on the upper Current River. Beautifully secluded in the heart of the National Scenic riverways, this property is surrounded by National Park Service property. Built in 2010, this modern home is a wonderful place to tube, canoe, raft, fish or just enjoy the scenic views in the Ozarks. Current River and the gravel bar shown in photos is approximately 200 yards from the cabin, down a path through the trees. Property is approximately 6 miles down a maintained county gravel road that is passable by car.

It features the master bedroom suite with a queen-sized bed, master bath with large tub, and separate walk-in shower.

The second bedroom has a queen/full bunk bed.
The second bathroom features walk in shower, and other bathroom amenities as well as a washer and dryer.

The living area includes an open concept living room with futons, kitchen, and dining room. As well as a 70 inch flat screen TV, table and eat at island.

Outside of the home offers:
* A propane grill and Blackstone
* A fire ring, fire wood (when available) and picnic table.
* Access to Current River, and a nice swimming hole.

Please note that this property is not located in town, nor on a highway and is approximately 6 miles down a gravel road. It is recommended you arrive during daylight hours. The road is passable by car.

The property is located between Pulltite and Round Spring, on the west side of the river. See map picture for more accurate location.

This place is amazing. We went with our friends for a couple days of canoeing and it was wonderful. Necessities were provided. We grilled 2 nights so we didn’t use the kitchen, but for the fridge. Plenty of room on the porch table to eat. The river goes right behind the house, we actually stopped during one of our canoe trips because my shoe broke. BEAUTIFUL. Will probably take a two day canoe trip and stop at the cabin overnight. It is a long rocky driveway We got lost because my husband wouldn’t listen to my directions, but my friend said the directions were spot-on. Make sure you put everything inside at night, something grabbed one of my shoes and luckily I found it the next day. Armadillo or raccoon. Please be aware of your surroundings by the river, we ran into a Timber rattler by the river’s edge.Carr’s canoe rental is right down the road and Pulltite campground is the other place we rented canoes. Everything was perfect. Hopefully, we can do this again next year. (I loved the towels) Host was wonderful and answered any crazy questions I asked, within minutes.

Celebrated dad's 72nd birthday here relaxing on the Current River. The property is beautiful. Easy access to the river for fishing or shoving off for a quick 2-3 hour float down to Round Spring. The house accommodated to four guys perfectly with everything we needed for a memorable stay.

Wonderful stay

The cabin was even nicer than the photos showed which is not common. Lots of nice amenities were present like nightlights. We had a wonderful time.
