We enjoyed our stay at the cabin it was beautiful and perfect for my family. Spent New Years with a gorgeous scenery. Highly recommended and will book again. Thank you so much!
We had a very nice stay. This small house has everything you need to relax. The bed is extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed talking with and petting the horses and donkey. The owners were very kind and attentive.
The property was adequate for what we needed on our hiking weekend trip. It was well stocked and the water pressure was perfect for a shower after an exhausting day!
This is a short-term rental that we hope to use again in the future and have already recommended it to two other people. Jonathan does a great job, and he's a great guy. We are truly thankful for all they've done.
The cottage was sweet, very private, contained everything we needed for a delightful weekend. The horse and the donkey outside were an added treat - very friendly. The host was responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this host and this space.
We stayed here with our family of 4 while we rode on the Virginia Creeper Trail, explored the area, and fished Laurel Creek. Jon was exceptionally welcoming, the bungalow was cozy, the internet was speedy, and a fire in the fire pit was a perfect ending to the day. Definitely would stay here again if we come back to the area. Just for reference, it's only 20min to Damascus.
We enjoyed our time on the property. It was perfect for our family of four. The horse and donkey were the sweetest to our girls. The small house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The host was very friendly and responsive to any questions. We will be going back!
Wonderful stay at a thoughtfully set up property!! Wouldn’t mind coming back. The tv might’ve been more for background noise above the doorway, but on a getaway why sit around and watch tv!! Upstairs was easy enough to access as a beaten up veteran, kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make breakfast and supper. Host was kind and inviting. Casper and duster were great neighbors!!
Beautiful place in the mountains with an excellent host
This is our first time using Vrbo, and we really enjoyed our stay in this bungalow. It’s tiny (just like the listing says) but was very clean and very well kept with all the basic supplies and more. There’s even a fire pit there with wood supplied. We could not have asked for a better host. He was responsive when we needed him, and he was also willing to take the time to show our kids what he was doing when they approached him while working on a project (He and his wife live further up the hill on the property.). We’ll be back if we are staying in this area again.
This cottage has everything you may need for a pleasant and cozy stay. Hosts are friendly and easy to reach. Many thoughtful touches like snuggly blankets, extra coffee, a snack basket, books to read, and TV instructions were available. They even laid out some wood for us in case we wanted a fire outside. It's also easy to find in the dark, because of the twinkling lights on the tiny home and the driveway entrance. Definitely would stay here again if we are in the area again. Thank you for all your attention to so many details.
I am not sure what my expectations were for my stay at this tiny house. However, I can tell you that they paled in comparison.
The property was beautiful, especially this time of year. The teeny house was clean and well stocked. Jonathan was a great and friendly host. This was a solo trip for me to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. I appreciated the solitude as well as the fact that the hosts were very accessible. My only regret was that I did not have time to use the fire pit.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We stayed at this tiny house when we went to ride the Creeper Trail and explore Damascus and Abingdon. It is about a 10 minute drive from the bike rental places, and it was perfect- small, totally clean and very comfortable and well maintained.
I’d give 10 extra stars for the owner. It was unexpectedly warm right before a snow, and he very graciously came out to install the window air conditioning unit (after dark!) for us. Then, he caught us looking between the boards of the deck where I’d dropped my earrings. I got back the important one, but Jon pulled up two deck boards so I could get the other earring. He was so kind and patient and went way above and beyond. I really appreciate him!
This was such a beautiful place to stay! It was cozy and it had everything we needed. We even got to enjoy a bonfire and marshmallows! The hosts were so kind and friendly!
Definitely a place we will come back! Super close to the Virginia Creeper Trail.
I have so much good to say about this bingalo/tiny house. Best place we have EVER stayed. Loved Casper the donkey , Drifter the horse and last but not least our Host Jon.
We could not have been happier with staying at this tiny house. The owner is one of the nicest and most accommodating people we have ever met. Our girls were thrilled to pet Drifter the horse. And they absolutely loved and adored Casper, the donkey, who has the biggest, most friendly personality. We enjoyed fiddle music in the mornings and the sounds of crickets and cicadas in the evenings. 10/10 would stay here again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in this area!!
We enjoyed the two nights stay. We were able to enjoy visiting family. The only problem we had, was cell phone reception. We couldn't receive or make calls or texts. That was with sprint. It was a nice stay with enough comforts being away from home.
