Spacious home with lake breezes and a community lake view!

NOTE: The Summer months often have aquatic insect visitors from the Lake across the street!!! Thankfully they are harmless.

This home has an open floor plan with 4 spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms! The community lake view is across the street, there you can look out across the water and listen to the crashing waves! but if you’d like to relax in the sand or go for a nice swim, there are various public beaches for you (and your families) to enjoy! ❤️

The home is thirty minutes to Cedar Point, 45 minutes to Cleveland and 1 hour to the island ferries! Lots of day tripping potential.

Vermilion has plenty of quaint shops downtown, and many community activities.

BEDROOMS
• Bedroom 1 (by kitchen) = King bed with private full bath. Two Toddler inflatable mattresses and the sheets are in the bathroom storage cabinet.

BEACH TOWELS also in bathroom storage cabinet. Extra pillows, blankets in closet. GAMES in the hope chest and pie cabinet in the dining room!
• Bedroom 2 (off living room) = Double bed, shared full bath with bedroom 3. Booster seat in closet.
• Bedroom 3 (off living room) = King bed shared full bath with bedroom 2. Closet has outdoor games, sun cabana (great for beach), iron and board.
• Bedroom 4 (upstairs) = turn on window air conditioner if needed, king bed and a roll-away cot with linens.

PETS are welcome!!! We ask that you cover the couches with the gray blankets in the black storage table (in living room)!!! All pet droppings must be disposed of in the outdoor garbage can. Please report any damage, and pay to repair if needed. (just be responsible!)

We loved our stay. Everything was very clean and spacious. So many extra amenities throughout to use if we needed. Vermilion is such a cute waterfront town. We visited some local shops downtown as well. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood near the beach, this is your place to go!

We had an excellent vacation. The house was wonderful for our group of six. Had everything we needed and more. Deborah was great and easy to communicate with. Only suggestion we would make is there are a lot of bird houses along the neighbors side of the fence so there are a lot of bird droppings everywhere. Table covers and maybe a small electric pressure washer would help with that. We already booked for next year!! Thanks!

My husband and w stayed along with our son and his family. We were visiting family on Vermilion for the holidays. We had a fabulous time. The house is so adorable and very clean. We had a truly amazing once in a lifetime stay for the Great American Eclipse on April 8th. I cannot thank our Vrbo hosts enough! From the welcome bag with moon pies and sun chips to the lovely decor, it was the most thoughtfully and well-appointed Vrbo we have ever stayed in. Vermillion, Sandusky and the area were so enjoyable that we would very much consider coming back, even without the amazing celestial event. Grandpa’s 90th Birthday

We had 8 family members here for a weekend to celebrate Grandpa’s 90th birthday. This house was fabulous. Lots of space to visit, wonderfully appointed kitchen which was great for us since we cooked all our meals while there. Nice space outdoors - we loved playing corn hole and sitting by the fire. Comfortable beds. Host was very quick to help with a slight internet problem..

Perfect stay

We enjoyed our stay so much. The home is so incredibly sweet - meticulously cared for with thought in absolutely every small touch. The home is even lovelier than the photos depict, everything any guest could possibly want is available, and the owner goes out of her way to make things special - from carefully wrapped towels, bottled mini toiletries, games/movies galore, and more. Truly, we spent a restful four days at the home during our daughter’s Oberlin graduation weekend and would recommend the home to anyone. It would have been a lovely place to have her and a few friends visit for a bbq, camp fire, and time in the bonus game room (in the beautifully finished garage space), but unfortunately, her social calendar didn’t allow for it!…. Vermillion is a nice town, there’s a grocery store just down the street, plenty of dining options nearby….I have no hesitation giving this property five glowing stars!

What a pleasant surprise!

We initially booked this location as we were coming into town for a wedding; we were looking for something close to the venue to make it an easy visit. What really blew us away was how well the home was curated. There was thought put into each room and consideration for every amenity! We could not be happier. Being from out of town, we were worried about where to go before checkin and attending virtual meetings.The owner was very accommodating at checkin and communicative that allowed for a stress-free experience. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to the area

An Amazing House With an Awesome Host

We have stayed in quite a few VRBO rentals, but this house and this host tops them all. Her house rule is “If it’s there you can use it”, and it’s amazing the number of items that are there. There’s every thing from yard games, to multiple kitchen appliances, to board games, to Q-tips, to plenty of toilet paper. Not only is the host generous, but she’s also very organized. She has prepared a note book that explains where everything is. In addition to being well equipped, the house is very clean, cozy, and attractive. My family of seven, thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

This was the perfect place for our girls' weekend! 7 ladies (3 mother-daughter pairs and a wonderful aunt/friend!) converged in Vermillion OH from New York and Michigan. We each had our own bedroom-bathroom "suites" for a little personal space. The rest of the home was truly that -- a home. Spacious, comfortable, and stocked with all we needed for a relaxing weekend of fun and games. Kitchen is fully loaded with dishes, appliances, pots and pans. Cupboards throughout the home are filled with linens, towels, books and games. Each bed/bath "suite" had plenty of blankets, pillows and even toiletries in case you didn't pack your own (shampoo, conditioner, body soap). SO welcoming and comfortable with no detail forgotten. The icing on the cake was the phenomenal garage-turned-"she shed" with pool table, axe-throwing, big screen TV, couches, kitchenette and full bathroom! WOW! To get to this phenomenal game-room/in-law-suite you must walk through a lovely and private back yard complete with BBQ, outdoor furniture and wood-burning fire pit. Could not be more perfect. THANK YOU!

Great place and Vermillon is a nice town

House is super clean and very cute. It is also very comfortable. It is one of the few houses in the past few times that I have used VRBO that has a really useful kitchen and there were no problems. My daughter loved the toilet footstools. Other people loved the moveable mirror in the bathroom. Others cited the comfortable beds. The only negative I would say, (and this is beyond the control of the house) is that there really is no community beach. It has been washed away by the high water on Lake Erie. The stairs down to the beach end at piles of boulders. There are other nearby town beaches if you want to swim in the lake. Issues with the lake need to be addressed by State Government and the Federal Government. Support your environment, its the only one we have.

What a lovely place for my family to gather and connect. This house is well maintained, well organized, and had everything my family needed to have a great weekend connecting while we were all in town for my sister's wedding. The owners were very nice and responsive. Great decor, lots of seating, and close to area attractions. Beautiful Home

We loved this property. It was very comfortable and spacious enough for the 9 of us. So many amenities and decorated so beautifully. The home was also very clean. The backyard leaves nothing to be desired. A fire pit, comfortable furniture and lots of extras. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the neighbors are so nice on the street. While there was no beach, there was a path to walk on to see the sunsets on the lake. Main Street Beach a beautiful little family beach nearby. I highly recommend this home. The host was very kind, communicated quickly and we love that they allow pets!! We will stay at this property again

Nicer Than the Photos!

Once we set foot inside, we knew it was better and a littler homier than in the photos. Very warm atmosphere, outdoor area very usable and pretty when we were there in early June for Oberlin College graduation. Short walk to the lake, walking/climbing the rocks and an easy drive to the college, about 20-25 minutes.
