About this property

Your Vermont Log Cabin Getaway w/Hot Tub+Firepit-Arrive Early & Stay Late!

Enjoy early arrival and a leisurely departure! Our beautiful 2,000 sq ft log home is tucked away in a private community just a 10-minute drive to the resort and local attractions. We have everything you need for a perfect mountain getaway, including linens, towels, and a well-equipped kitchen. Soak in the outdoor hot tub in any season, then relax by the wood-burning fireplace indoors or the firepit outdoors -we're always fully stocked with firewood! Perfect for families or a grown-up getaway!

You'll love the open kitchen, dining & living rooms, sitting room, and the loft with sectional and Smart TV with Roku.

The Space
Our home is perfect for families and friends who enjoy hanging out by the fireplace and sharing meals in our beautiful open concept, cathedral ceiling living space. We have lots of comfortable seating and extra areas to relax and read in the sitting room or watch TV in the loft (each of which has a pull-out sofa with bedding provided).

Our bedrooms have fresh and comfortable linens, and we provide extra pillows and blankets, bathroom towels for every guest, towels for the hot tub, and plenty of kitchen towels too.

We are excited to announce that the upstairs bedroom has now been upgraded to a king-sized bed, and the twin room has been converted to a queen-sized bed. Both the king and queen mattresses are wonderfully comfortable and brand new in 2024. The bunk room stays the same!

We provide an abundance of firewood and kindling for the gorgeous indoor stone hearth fireplace and the outdoor firepit. Baseboard heating and a heat pump system keep the house warm in winter, and a mini-split system and window air conditioners keep the home cool in summer.

We have cards, games, books, a ski boot dryer, a washer & dryer, and clothing racks and lines to hang wet ski clothes.

Our kitchen is fully equipped for meal prep and enjoyment with plenty of pots, pans, knives, flatware, glasses (including wine glasses), mugs, bowls, and plates. We have a dishwasher, toaster oven, electric tea kettle, coffee grinder, a drip coffee maker, a pour-over coffee maker, and a Nespresso machine. We provide some ground coffee and a few Nespresso capsules to get you started, olive oil, vinegars, cooking oil, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, and black and herbal teas. If you love espresso, consider bringing more original-compatible capsules.

Guest access
You will be provided with a unique code to our smart lock to let yourself into the house.
We have plenty of parking in our driveway. Please pull all the way to the back of the driveway to allow the snowplow to fully plow the driveway in the winter months.

A perfect stay!!
Everything about Juli's cabin is perfect. It's cute, clean, comfortable, cozy and so perfectly appointed. Everything you could want is provided. We played games, sat by a great fire, enjoyed the really nice hot tub. and even cooked! Juli has thought of everything, I wouldn't look any further.

Annual Ski Trip!
We rented the house for 8 guys for our annual ski trip and the house didn’t disappoint. It was clean, comfortable and 10 minute drive to Killington. There was enough sleeping arrangements for each of us to have our own beds, the kitchen was equipped for us to handle all our meals as well. The hot tub and fire place was perfect ending to great days on the mountain. Looking forward to booking our trip next year.

Vermont Perfection
This charming log cabin in the woods was perfect for our family getaway. The cabin was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had all of the amenities to make us feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved the open floor plan. It was nice to cook and be able to still hang out together. It is close to great hiking and other activities. Would highly recommend the Woodstock Farmers Market! Juli was an amazing host. She left us all the information we could need, plus a sweet gift of Vermont maple syrup and delicious coffee. Check-in was extremely easy. We VRBO often and our 12 year old son said that this was his favorite! We hope to come back again soon.

Welcome to our home-away-from-home in beautiful Killington, Vermont!

We are a family from the South Shore of Massachusetts (one of us by way of Rio de Janeiro) who have long had a dream to own a beautiful log cabin in the mountains of New England. We love to travel (Italy, Ireland, Belgium, and Spain are some of our favorite places and, of course, Brazil). But we also LOVE to be HOME. No matter where we are, our favorite thing to do is to cook a good meal and cozy up by the fire.

We hope you’ll find The Cabin is a comfortable and beautiful home-away-from-home for you to relax in and enjoy.
Juli & Rod

Why they chose this property

We chose this area and neighborhood of Killington because it is beautifully private but not isolated. Our quiet HOA of nine homes is at the end of an easily accessible gravel road.

What makes this property unique

We absolutely love that our home is a perfect blend of a classic New England Log Home and a modern getaway with all the features you need to fully enjoy your stay.
