The house was very cozy and well lit, the design was neat and I liked it very much. It wasn't a long drive to the ski resorts in the area from the house either. Overall a great experience and I would recommend anyone considering to stay here to take the place!
We had a great stay, the property is as advertised, clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Half hour drive to the ski mountains. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
This was the perfect home for our stay in Vermont. It's clean and comfortable and has great amenities. The air conditioning was great, since we visited in July.
Comfortable unit close to Silver Lake and a short trip to ski resorts
Clean, comfortable, and easy to use unit nestled in Bethel. My husband and I enjoyed having our morning coffee while watching the sun bring the nearby mountains into view from the back window. A good, local diner is less than 5 minutes away and grocery options in under 15 minutes. This is a great getaway, pff the beaten path, that we plan to visit again.
We had an awesome stay at John's Place for a ski weekend at Killington. Its about a 35 minute drive FYI. The house was very clean and had everything you needed for a quick weekend. John is an awesome host! We were struggling to get out of the driveway after ~10" of snow overnight and John came out and helped shovel us out. Highly recommend John's Place
The place was very nice, just what me and the guys needed. Was a 30 minute drive to killington and the town was close by. Host was very responsive too and helped us out numerous times. Highly recommend!
We had a very short weekend stay but loved the location. It was outside of town in the country so very quiet. The house was very clean and the host was extremely responsive. No issues to report!
Was perfect location to visit family and relax. Beautiful area and home...really enjoyed deck in the morning. Will stay here again.

Ten years ago I was cycling up the North Rd hill and saw this big house for sale. It was just a shell at the time. A decade later, it has become a comfortable, well insulated home.
