Peaceful Brookside North Pomfret Cottage

Enjoy a relaxing family vacation in our brookside home that feels like you are getting away from it all, while still being close to popular local attractions if you choose to venture out. Our home is tucked away in beautiful Pomfret VT, so you will get to take in quintessential VT rolling hillside scenery to and from the cottage.

Relax and BBQ (charcoal, bring your own) overlooking a peaceful brook while the kiddos play in the backyard. Or cozy up on the couch inside with the gas fireplace.

Two bedrooms and one bath. One queen size bed and one twin over full bunk bed. Bed linens and bath towels provided. Washer and dryer in separate laundry room.

Free WiFi and a smart TV for you to login to your streaming accounts with.

Dishes, silverware, mugs, pots and pans, mixing and serving bowls, measuring tools, and grill tools provided.

Our road is a very popular biking road and there are also Appalachian trailheads and cross country skiing nearby.

Loved how it was kid-friendly with the gates on the deck. Easy check in, well stocked kitchen. Great access to the babbling brook. Awesome location near the museum of science and VINS.

Loved everything about this cozy beautiful home. Had everything we needed and the bubbling brook was an extra bonus. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook if you like. Visit Simon Pearce and watch glassblowing. I’m a seaglass jewelry artisan Jewelry by Colleen Marie. Also watch them make pottery at another shop. The Quechee Inn for dinner! Jazz Wednesday nights!! Fabulous food and friendly staff!

This was our second time staying at North Pomfret cottage. I came with my husband and 2 kids. First time we came in the summer and had to come back for the fall experience! Everything was much busier in town I must say, but it was so nice having our quiet retreat to go back to. We enjoy cooking in the well stocked kitchen and our kids love roasting marshmallows by the outdoor firepit at night. Everything we needed was there. Just what we wanted for our fall getaway!

It was a lovely house, perfect for chilling out. It felt larger then we expected, and the 3 of us felt like we had plenty of room to have our own space between the living room and the outdoor patio. The board games were a nice touch, we found a new game that we all enjoyed!

Just Lovely

A nice quiet spot in the country, where you can relax and just take a deep breath. Options for eating "out" are close by and so many things to do. But you can do none of that and still have a really lovely time just listening to the creek bubbling by.

Well located rental for Balloon Festival

Rental just as advertised. Beautiful location on private creek. Clean, stocked kitchen, comfortable. One star lost because shower water temperature never got hotter than lukewarm. Contacted host about issue but was not resolved.

Great Place to Stay

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Location was private and peaceful, but close proximity to drive to Woodstock and Quechee. The view from the back windows and deck of the stream is lovely.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway!

The house and location were perfect for our family for our Thanksgiving week trip. We wanted to be close to towns to visit during the day but not surrounded by a lot of people when we were at home. The kitchen was perfect for us. We cooked all week long and made the best Thanksgiving memories.

We love the deck on this house that lets us sit by the brook. It feels so secluded, but we aren't far from fun things that we enjoy doing. We also love the drive through Pomfret to our house. The scenery is so beautifully tranquil.
