Step inside and be welcomed by an inviting living room designed for both relaxation and togetherness. Sink into the oversized sectional—perfect for stretching out after a day of adventure or gathering for a movie night in front of the smart TV. The stunning stone hearth fireplace is the centerpiece of the room, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere whether you’re curled up with a book or sharing stories with friends and family. From the living area, sliding doors provide easy access to the balcony deck, where you can step outside and savor the fresh Vermont air or enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the treetops. Adding to the home’s charm is a unique loft, accessed by a sturdy ladder with rails for safety. Perched above the main living area, this cozy space features a comfy sofa, a board game area, and a small TV—making it an ideal spot for family game nights or a quiet movie session tucked away from the action below.

The kitchen is a chef’s delight, offering spacious counters, a convenient breakfast bar, and all stainless steel appliances—including a gas stove for precise cooking. A window above the kitchen sink lets you enjoy peaceful views while you prep or clean up. Adjacent to both the kitchen and living room, the dining area comfortably seats six and features a large window that fills the space with natural light and offers lovely views while you dine. There’s also direct access from the dining room to the balcony deck—making it easy to transition from indoor meals to outdoor relaxation. The main level features a primary bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, two dressers for plenty of storage, and a private ensuite with a walk-in shower. Downstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and a twin bedroom with direct access to the patio through sliding doors—perfect for slipping outside to relax in the hammock or soak in the private hot tub under the stars. Guests will appreciate the shared full bathroom with a shower on the lower level, and a convenient half bath upstairs.

Above the garage, you’ll find a fantastic office and game room—ideal for both remote work and play. The workspace is equipped with a desk, chair, lamp, monitor, keyboard, and laptop holder for productivity, while the game area features air hockey, foosball, darts, shuffleboard, and a large Roku TV with classic game consoles (old Nintendo, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360). Comfy bean bag chairs are arranged around the TV, making it the perfect spot for movie or gaming nights.

If you love the outdoors, you’ll adore the expansive wraparound deck with a screened-in section—ideal for sipping your morning coffee or enjoying evening cocktails while taking in the Vermont scenery. The laundry room on the lower level makes extended stays a breeze. Wonderful Winter Weekend

This was one of our favorite rental properties. Clean, spacious, bright and well appointed with kitchenware. The fireplace was fantastic and the view from the living room was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the loft to play and watch a movie as well. The downstairs was a bit chilly, but closing the doors while we were out skiing made a difference in warmth. Wonderful winter weekend. We would definitely stay again!

Cozy in the woods

Nice house in the woods near Quechee Club amenities. Loved the fireplace. Kids loved the loft play area. Well stocked, including kitchen with all needed utensils, spices, tea, etc. Host very responsive when we asked for more firewood. Some things a little dated or tired such as lamp shade that kept toppling over on its own and shower faucet required screw driver to operate. Routine end-of-life issues for these things I think—stuff gets worn out no big deal. I think my biggest issue was the heating system does not suit the house well. The bottom floor where two of the bedrooms are was quite cold. Space heaters were provided which helped. That bottom floor really needs to be zoned out separately or redone with heat pumps or something. Despite all, wife and kids begging for return trip and to stay in same house!!!
