We do want to clarify that the community pool is seasonal and typically closed during the winter months. That said, the timing of your stay actually coincided with the pool’s grand re-opening, so it was available the last few days of your trip! We’re sorry for any confusion there, and are happy to follow up further if needed. Regarding the additional items you mentioned, we take concerns like this very seriously. We have already had maintenance out to fix the washing machine, and we are actively in the process of updating several amenities, including the kayaks, ping pong table, bikes, and linens to ensure a better guest experience moving forward! For clarification, the kitchen drawer you referenced is intentionally stocked with useful household items (such as batteries and basic tools), and the cabinet items are standard convenience supplies that guests find helpful during their stay. Most of our guests actually really appreciate this! We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, as it allows us to continue improving the home. Providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests is very important to us, and we are actively working on updates and maintenance to ensure that standard.
