Nice, clean, and secure location

We didn't spend much time at the resort. However, our cabin was very clean, quiet, secure, and centrally located for all of our activities.

Great family vacation spot!

This was our first time coming to Shenandoah Crossing, and we absolutely loved it! The kids (ages 6 and 8) enjoyed the various activities offered at the resort, as well as the great and clean outdoor pools. I would highly recommend this camp ground resort to others and we hope to come back again in the future!

Cute cabin getaway

The cabin was lovely, but there were cobwebs on the artwork, and there wasnt enough hot water for 2 showers back to back. We had 6 adults in the cabin, staying for a local wedding. It was tough for everyone to get ready when 2 people couldnt shower back-to-back. Also, the cabin could use more than one mirror

Great Get Away

Nice, quaint, simple cabin. Not quite as pictured but still very nice. Be sure to bring your fire stick. Would have appreciated some hiking/walking trails but there are other things to do. Overall, very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Good time

We spent a few nice days , even if the hot tub jet inside the pools area was not working and no Wi-Fi inside our cabin.

beautiful cabin, great location

This is a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin with 1 bath and open concept kitchen living area. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and baking dishes. The bedrooms were lovely and very clean. The bath is updated tile with copper sink. Nice location, few steps from your parking area. A great place whether you want to get out and about or just relax and stay in the area.

Last getaway before school starts

Deborah was a great host. She provided all the necessary information and answered all my questions. We love Shenandoah Crossing, the only downside was all purchases had to be charged to the room.

Spectacular view and resort

Cabin was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It has everything you need for your stay and even things you don’t think of. Our cabin had wonderful views of the lake even from the master bedroom. The resort property is so big and beautiful/spectacular views of the lake, stable, and everywhere. Very family friendly place. Many outdoor activities to do. We love this place. Host was wonderful. Provided all information I needed, thank you

Great for a quick getaway

This was our second trip. The cabin is just as advertised. Great for a quick getaway to unplug. The windows were a bit drafty but if you keep a fire going in the fireplace it’s not so bad. The unit was very clean and had just enough conveniences. The resort restaurant is now open but the food is NOT good. Would strongly suggest bringing your food with you to cook/grill. The locals are a bit inappropriate. They’re very quick to share their political views which were totally unsolicited and a bit insulting but you could tell they probably didn’t know any better. The owner is cool and reachable. Diamond at the front desk was AMAZING! The fees were a bit exorbitant, but I would probably do it again.I rated it a 3 not because of the cabin itself but because of the restaurant and the locals.

Fun disc golf getaway at timeshare resort

My family of 4 stayed in one of the deluxe cabins at this BlueGreen Vacations timeshare property for a 3-day disc golf weekend at the Raptors Roost Disc Golf Course in the neighborhood next door to the property. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and located by the beautiful lake on the property. The two bedrooms were adequate, with one king bed and one queen, but our two boys (one 12, one 16) decided they were too big to share the queen bed, so one took the pull-out sofa bed in the living room, which seemed comfortable enough for our smaller 12 year-old. The food at Mac's Kitchen in the main lodge was absolutely delicious, and service was good as well! We rented a golf cart to get around the property, which also features a mini golf course. We had fun playing mini golf, but the course needs some upkeep and renovation. There is a nice outdoor pool overlooking the lake and a much smaller indoor pool (which was packed during the chilly weekend we were there) and hot tub inside the main lodge, and the property is installing a larger pool and water park at the clubhouse near the entrance to the property. We also had fun playing in the arcade located in the basement of the main lodge. You do have to purchase tokens from the change machines to play the arcade games, at 4 tokens per dollar, and most games are at least 2 tokens. They had a good mix of pinball, air hockey, classic and newer arcade games. Billiards and ping pong are also located in the arcade area. A fun stay!

Peaceful Lakeview Cabin Stay in the Woods

Deborah is a very responsive, attentive, highly professional host whose business communications made our booking and check-in process a breeze! Her 2-bedroom cabin was lovely. We enjoyed making smoothies, baking cookies, and bbqing due to all the great amenities at our disposal. We are already thinking about our next stay in this comfy peaceful cabin. Thanks for allowing us to have a peaceful Easter weekend away from the city.

About the host

Host profile image
I became a deeded owner for a deluxe cabin at Shenandoah Crossing in1998. I live in Virginia and the property is a just a short trip from home so we have used it frequently over the years. It's the place where you can relax and enjoy family; where my child learned to swim, play ping-pong, shoot pool, master air hockey. We all took western riding lessons there so we could enjoy ring riding and the advanced trail rides. Now that my child is an adult, we don't use the property as frequently. I would now like to share the property that we have enjoyed so much with other travelers.
