Great base camp for Shenandoah hiking so the west and Civil War battlefield tours to the north. House was clean, well-stocked, and located in peaceful wooded setting. Hosts were attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great hidden away property with lovely hosts! Tabitha and her family weren’t credibly welcoming and super helpful with making the space kid friendly for our rambunctious one year old. We really appreciated the personal touches, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet get away weekend!

Even More Than The Title

The cottage is absolutely beautiful. The main house is in view from the front porch but the back porch is a nice, private oasis. The cottage has everything you could ask for (except an iron and ironing board but we didn't ask for it from Tabitha so I'm sure she would provided it) with beautiful collections all around for enjoyment. Hubby said if it has a king sized mattress and a bidet, he wouldn't leave. If you are looking for a well-appointed, roomy cottage just minutes from the best of Virginia's wine country, then this home is the place for you.
