It was unusually cold last weekend, water pressure and hot water in both kitchen and bathroom was just warmLocation was wonderful, relaxing with a wonderful view. If staying when weather is cooler be prepared as the woodstove warms things up quickly but you need someone one wood duty to put a new log on every 2 hours
Relaxing weekend on perfectly secluded scenic lake
Beautiful location with sandy beach, canoes and kayaks.
Cozy cabin with great living room - plus gas grill overlooking the lake - although the sunsets behind you, the lake is so beautiful in the sunset's glow!
Made wonderful meals and memories with friend, ending each night with a lakeside beach firepit
This little secluded cottage was exactly as advertised. The home (and beds) were very comfortable and was very clean. The pictures don't do justice to show the property. We enjoyed using the canoes, kayaks and paddle boat. There was a terrific beach area where these Florida people braved the chilly water to swim! We enjoyed several bonfires with s'mores and even hosted a small bbq (Nana, an Aunt and two cousins). Owner occupied property right next door; but we felt like we were totally alone in the woods. There were plenty of nearby stores or eateries (if you don't want to cook in the fully equipped kitchen) just a short couple mile drive in several directions. We were VERY pleased and my only advise...book now...and stay longer than you were planning. We miss it already!

Adorable Little Cottage
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse and the manager was kind. However we felt the communication wasn’t great and we wished there would’ve been some kind of information left for the guests about using the wood stove and the check out process with the soiled linens and things. A few more towels would’ve been nice. I hate to be negative but we were disappointed in a few things. However, we enjoyed our trip.
Peaceful, quiet, love the water so close. After a day of exploring great place to relax and unwind. All necessities provided, just bring your own groceries and toiletries. Thanks Laurie
