Our house is a 2014-built brick home with all of the modern amenities including WiFi, boat house, boat lift. It is minutes away from all mid-lake restaurants, guide services, tackle shops, etc. It's located in a quiet cul-de-sac and has lots of privacy for guests.

The house is in a great location, very clean, and absolutely gorgeous home! It’s not often you stay somewhere that actually makes you feel as if you never left home. Exactly what we needed!

This property was amazing! The pictures online are very accurate. This home is very spacious and clean. We did not realize how steep the driveway was when booking but our host was very quick and accommodating in providing us with a resolution to assist our disabled family member. I would definitely recommend this home to everyone!

Beautiful Home and Catfish City

We had an amazing time, Chet was so easy to work with and the home was absolutely beautiful! We stayed up all night catching catfish from the pier, and the set up is so relaxing The area is quiet and easy access to fishermen’s galley and lost frontier for dinner, also local stores for anything you might need. If your looking so something on the lake but away from all the traffic and fast pace, this is definitely your area. We had an amazing time

Not good

The house is very nice and clean. It is advertised as waterfront with a boat dock. We stayed there with the intention of docking our boat so we didn’t have to launch and recover it everyday. Unfortunately, the house is at the very end of a creek, “the very end”. It is only accessible by boat when the water is high, which it is often not the case on Toledo Bend. We paid a premium for waterfront but we might as well haven been 2 miles away from the lake. Second thing, the owner was completely unresponsive. We stayed there during the World Series but were unable to watch any of it or any NFL games because the TVs didn’t work. We spent hours trying to swap and reprogram the fire sticks, change batteries in the remotes etc. I contacted the owner each day requesting help but he didn’t do anything, at one point he pretended he might have COVID to avoid coming to fix the problem. Instead of being able to watch the Astros win the World Series in the privacy of our place over a home cooked meal, we had to go out to the only bar for miles. Lastly, when I told the owner I was unhappy with the house and service, he said the lake level was beyond his control and I should have told him that we intended to dock a boat there. He would have let me know that it was inaccessible by boat. He then accused of us of trashing the house and threatened to charge extra fees. Everyone at the house was a 50 plus year old professional. Either a doctor, engineer, businessman, retired military or a combination of the above. We don’t trash houses. The place was left in perfect condition. I attempted to contact the owner multiple times to resolve the problem but with no success. I was left with no other alternative but to leave this negative review.
