The photos really don’t do it justice. This newer Airstream is parked at the foot of a bluff just across the dunes from the beach. It is a unique and really breathtaking location.
They provide a grill and two Adirondack chairs and we spent a lot of time outdoors. It did rain one day and being inside the trailer reading was cozy and comfortable, my favorite day actually. There was a burn ban but we made do with candles and driftwood. The inside is immaculate and very cozy. The bed was like a cloud. I’m 6’4” and never felt crowded.
The trailer comes equipped with most things you need for basic cooking. I recommend asking for an inventory if you plan to cook a lot. We grilled mostly. But the one small pot provided wouldn’t work if you are making pasta and sauce. But the host was happy to supply whatever additional items were needed and was nearby and available by text.
If you’ve never experienced an RV, it’s a bit different. There is power and water but you do need to be mindful of waste water as the holding tanks fill up fast. Not a problem, just part of the charm of rv’ing.
We would love to go back.
