The Anderson Farmhouse, a Langley original, built by Great Grandpa Anderson in 1907. A complete restoration, back to its original charm & character. This historic home sits on 20+ acres of fields, gardens, & surrounded by forest. The farm also provides land for Langley Community Gardens, chickens, cows, & a field of blooming dahlia's & farm flowers through summer. Step back in time & enjoy this peaceful mini farm experience. We want to continue to improve our community while preserving history.
The farmhouse is 100+ years old & our family treasure. Our heart was put into a detailed & beautiful restoration of the home. It has provided love & peace for our family since 1907. Items in the home are mostly all original to the farmhouse. Feel free to explore the farm, enjoy the nature and wildlife. Some of the character in the farmhouse come from the original floors, old doors, and original ship lap walls. Due to the age, there are unique qualities & character in the wood and hardware that is just part of the charm of this old farmhouse.
The entire home & 20+ acres of fields and forest is for guests to explore. The farmhouse garden is for guests to pick flowers or in season veggies, all fruit trees are for you to pick, and some over 100 years old. The Langley Community Gardens behind the home are private gardens for the people that care for them. We donate part of the land for the garden plot. Feel free to walk through the Community Gardens, and enjoy the diversity in each of the private plots.
This is a very small family owned farm, we feed cows, chickens, barn cats daily and gardeners will be tending to their gardens, seasonally. The home and surrounding yard is private for guests. We will respect your privacy and boundary around the home.
