Flo's Hideaway is a cute and comfy 2 bedroom and two full bath home that sits on a sweet street near the marsh in Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a quaint fishing community located between Savannah and Tybee Island making travel to downtown and the beach a breeze! A 10 minute drive to Historic Savannah and a 15 minute drive to the beach, Flo’s Hideaway is 7/10 mile from Bonaventure Cemetery as well as within walking distance to great bars and restaurants, the Freedom Boat Club at Bahia Blue Marina and the fishing pier at Honey Park! There is a queen sofa bed located in the living room area. We are pet friendly when traveling with a small dog.

The home itself is stunning! The layout is perfect and the place is very spacious. I appreciate the location. It is not in a busy area and even has a cute cafe right next door! Lance & Cindy are incredible hosts. Super accomodating and communicative. If I do return, I would adore staying here again. Phenomenal!

Loved it. In a quiet neighborhood and close to grocery stores and such. Quite close to everything we wanted to do in Savannah. The house was very clean. No complaints at all. It was nice to have hosts right next door in case we had any questions about anything.

Very clean and a great location - only about 15 minutes from the residence to parking in downtown Savannah but there are great options for food in the immediate area.

Lovely place

It was very comfortable and quiet. Had a lovely family visit and a relaxing time. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Owners very accommodating when we had to extend checkout time. Would stay again.

My sisters and I stayed here for a few days to check out Savannah. We had a great time. The location is wonderful and everything was as advertised. The host is very friendly and very responsive. I will definitely come here again.

Lovely quiet neighborhood with adorable charming eatery next-door. Situated and convenient location to Tybee Island, and downtown Savannah. It was very comforting to have the owner next-door and was very helpful and caring. Highly recommend this property.

Beyond Perfect!

Wow! This is one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. The entire place was so clean and well-kept, I know that even my parents would have been impressed! There were plenty of towels, dishes/cookware, and other supplies to ensure we felt right at home. I was able to iron all the groomsmen's tuxedos effortlessly here. I loved the decor and artwork. The hosts were very kind and helpful as well! Thank you so much for the wonderful place, Mark and Cyndy! This was a perfect display of southern hospitality 💖

Lovely Property

Lovely property in a quiet neighborhood. Clean, beautifully decorated, and full of amenities. The mattress in the master bedroom was too soft for my preference (but I'm used to sleeping on a firm mattress). Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming and quiet place to stay in Savannah.

Home away from home

This property is perfect for a family vacation and far away enough from downtown that it is quiet and safe but close enough to enjoy all of Savannah's attractions. The only thing I would mention is that traffic going into downtown in the afternoon/early evening is worth noting if you are staying in this location. We did not have any issues with it since we mostly ate out at places closer to the rental. There are plenty of great options nearby. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Savannah!

Adorable place near Savannah

The house is so cute! We loved all the decorations. It’s a little outside the city so it was peaceful. The house is a little older but everything worked super well. We heard from other people we met that they didn’t get AC so I was so happy we didn’t have to deal with that. It was great to have laundry too. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

What makes this property special is the proximity to everything with a quaint neighborhood feel. Thunderbolt is situated between Savannah and the islands and offers its own flavor of the south. We have several restaurants and bars within a mile of the property. This property gets its name in memory of my mom, Florence, who was known by those close to her as “Flo”.
