Flo's Hideaway is a cute and comfy 2 bedroom and two full bath home that sits on a sweet street near the marsh in Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a quaint fishing community located between Savannah and Tybee Island making travel to downtown and the beach a breeze! A 10 minute drive to Historic Savannah and a 15 minute drive to the beach, Flo’s Hideaway is 7/10 mile from Bonaventure Cemetery as well as within walking distance to great bars and restaurants, the Freedom Boat Club at Bahia Blue Marina and the fishing pier at Honey Park! There is a queen sofa bed located in the living room area. We are pet friendly when traveling with a small dog.

Perfect location and comfortable property.

The location was very convenient to Savannah and Tybee Island! We could get around very easily and there are really good local restaurants nearby. Property was very cute, comfortable and plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again.

It was very comfortable and quiet. Had a lovely family visit and a relaxing time. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Owners very accommodating when we had to extend checkout time. Would stay again.

Another great visit

This was our second time staying in this property and we love it. The hosts are great - helpful and friendly but not over the top. The location is perfect and the house is comfortable, has everything we need, well furnished, and nicely decorated. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Fantastic spot to enjoy Savannah

Spent almost a week in this little house and found it to be a great location to enjoy both Savannah and Tybee Island. The beds were so comfortable and owner was very responsive when we needed a hair dryer replaced during our stay. Will definitely recommend this home to friends and family. We hope to visit again soon!

Home away from home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy, comfortable, and clean house and being able to bring our 2 fur babies along! Great location to go to Tybee Island or downtown Savannah. Easy checkin and even though we didn’t need them, owners were right next door. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time at Flo's Hideaway! It was the perfect in-between location for us to visit both Tybee Island and downtown Savannah. The space was beautifully decorated and Cyndy was so accommodating and welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet & unique. We loved our stay.

This property was PERFECT! Very close to Tybee and Savannah! Very clean and comfortable! We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Tybee. Loved everything about it!

Lovely Property

Lovely property in a quiet neighborhood. Clean, beautifully decorated, and full of amenities. The mattress in the master bedroom was too soft for my preference (but I'm used to sleeping on a firm mattress). Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming and quiet place to stay in Savannah.

Amazing house!

This house was amazing had every thing you needed plus some. One of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen. Beds were very comfortable and very clean. House was in a great location you could get to everything within 15/20 min. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making our first stay in Georgia a wonderful experience and lots of memories.

Nice house in Savannah

Good property for a short stay. I booked for 6 guests however there was no bedding for 6. I managed to rearranged the bedding of the 2 double beds and make bedding for the sofa on the living room, if not lu kids would have slept directly on the couch with no blanket.

Excellent experience

I traveled with my spouse and 2 small dogs. The home was as advertised. Had no problem at all. It was comforting to know the owner was right next door. Neighborhood was great for walking our dogs. Would definitely recommend and should we go to Savannah again I would definitely stay there.

What makes this property special is the proximity to everything with a quaint neighborhood feel. Thunderbolt is situated between Savannah and the islands and offers its own flavor of the south. We have several restaurants and bars within a mile of the property. This property gets its name in memory of my mom, Florence, who was known by those close to her as “Flo”.
