The thermostat (Nest brand) is either set on a timer or controlled by the unit owner. We tried setting the temperature to 73 degrees and it kept changing to 75 degrees. The literature provided request us to not put temperature below 72 degrees which we complied with fully and it kept changing. This is unacceptable.

This place was great. Lovely walk across the lake to get to the beach. Nice lil restaurant and gas station within feet of property to grab quick snacks for the beach. Maybe porch screen will be complete next year.

What Serene Lake View !!!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To whom it may concern,I’m writing this to inform you of some issues currently happening during my stay at BW 201. The unit is not in the shape that was advertised when we reserved for June 19-23 2022. It is still under construction with random workers on the porch, tools laying around, paint buckets, coolers, ladders on the porch, no patio furniture, trash, lots of dirt, ceiling fan wire hanging from ceiling, and the list goes on. The mattress pad had human waste on it, the space between the washer and walls had built up dust and debris. The baseboards had caked up dust. While cooking breakfast, the water was turned off because another random guy was on the porch installing a water faucet. We can’t walk off the back porch because of construction equipment, large mud holes, etc. Also, our pets are disturbed and constantly barking at the worker who is coming on the porch which adds to this not being a pleasant experience. We’ve had to hang at a friends unit due to the inconvenience at BW 201. This is unprofessional, I should’ve been warned that this is happening at the unit. This should not have been discovered after paying full price for this unit. An emailed or some form of communication should have been sent giving me the option and time to choose another unit. I should not have to pay full price for this experience. Please contact me ASAP to discuss this further. This was the email sent to management. We have stayed several times Seascape and this is our first complaint. I now see how management handles complaints and their guests. We’ve contacted Seascape at least 3 times during our stay. Seascape nor the owner has yet contacted us regarding this matter. I will never stay at this unit. This unit was selected by a seascape employee when I changed from Ariel Dunes I to a pet friendly resort. I was never told the construction to this extreme was taking place at this unit. Very Disappointed.

The location from the beach is good if you don't have small kids and won't be toting a lot of items to the beach. The first day going to the beach was a struggle, with many, many rest stops in between, so we opted to drive to the beach the next day we decided to go. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the view from the back due to home renovations, but other than that everything else was okay. Our Neighbors were very sweet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I selected this condo particularly to enjoy the outside space on the water. Was disappointed to find workers on the patio every morning with a wood panel blocking the view. I understand renovations must be done but a warning was warranted and at the very least an apology from staff would’ve been appreciated. Inside was nice tho.
