The house was in a convenient location for our activities as well as being spacious and clean. I would like to see some kitchen utensils and pans replaced; a set of basic glassware would be nice. Our overall opinion is very good and we would come again.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely, spotless, and very well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent — such a small detail that makes a big difference. Everything about the home made us feel at ease, like coming home after a long day. It was the perfect spot for our Galveston weekend, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
We stayed at this house while in town for a cheer competition. There was plenty of room. The house was walking distance to the Strand. It worked out perfectly for us.
Cute house. We enjoyed our visit. Only negative I would say is there is no door on the primary bathroom shower so water sprayed all over the floor. And there were no cleaning supplies especially a broom. When coming back from the beach we wanted to sweep up the sand we had brought in so we had to go to store to buy a broom. There was a dust pan but no broom. The grill was dirty so we had to cook inside but that wasn’t the end of the world for us. Overall we had a pleasant time there.

Jennifer,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed your visit overall. We apologize for the shower door, missing broom, and grill issues — these have been addressed to improve future stays. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to host you again!
The home was beautiful and had a wonderful and comfortable atmosphere. Just as a note to the owner the shower in the master bedroom sprays on the floor really bad. The shower head will not adjust to prevent this from happening. There was not a trash bin to out the trash in, I looked all around he outside of the house. I was disappointed that I reached out because the internet did not work it appeared to have change or something because it did not appear when trying to connect and even typing in the name and password it was not recognized. I reported this on Friday and got no response.
This was a charming little house. Very clean, bright, and spacious. The location was perfect for us - close enough to several beaches and the cruise terminal (our ultimate destination). That being said, this house is more like a hotel than a house. We like to cook our own food, but the kitchen was barely equipped. We had 7 people, and the house will comfortably sleep 8, but there was a total of exactly 5 forks. There were coffee cups, but only two regular glasses. No cooking oil, salt, pepper, or other spices. Someone had left a bottle brush, but otherwise nothing with which to clean pots and pans.No Kleenex, only one small towel per person, not even hand soap in the bathrooms.Overall, it was very lovely, but made me realize how some of those little things make a big difference. I would still recommend this place, just know you need to bring with you things you would normally find at other houses.

Cortny,
Thank you for the kind review and helpful feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the home and location. We'll be restocking the kitchen and amenities based on your notes — those little details do make a difference.
We’d love to host you again!
We enjoyed our stay overall. It was a great location to the places we were going. We had a few questions about the trash, the owner/management didn't respond to us until after we checked out. We would recommend having more than one set of towels for each guest as we stayed for 3 days. Also, put the rules, we were expected to clean the grill after use, but the wasn't a grill brush. We had to buy one and we left it there for future guests. I didn't particularly like that there wasn't a door on the owner's room shower. And the barnyard door going to that bathroom was broken. But overall, were enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we had a large group again.

Not good!
House not ready on time and maid slammed door in face. Bath tub clogged but they fixed next day. Mice and bugs in house. Yard not mowed.
The house was very nicely updated. We especially enjoyed having the large dining table. There was plenty of room for our group of 2 families. I especially liked the bunk bedroom. The 3 boys, ages 15, 7, and 5, enjoyed the room. The bathrooms were nice. My only problem with the master bathroom was the shower. There wasn't a door or curtain and the floor got soaked. There was a door that led outside in the front bedroom, and it had a deadbolt that was locked on the outside, but anyone with a key could enter anytime. I think, as a matter of security, a lock on the inside of the door would provide a feeling of security for your guests. There was wifi provided, but the login info provided didn't work. My daughter-in-law had to work the Friday morning after check-in so she paid for the wifi offered. I had called the numbers left, but because we called after hours, we got a call around 9 am Friday. The man didn't know what was the correct wifi info. He manages several properties. He suggested looking at the bottom of the modem, and there was the correct info! Once that was resolved we had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean.
We loved the house. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything was nice and clean. There are a couple of things that need to be changed. I would put drapes on the windows. As soon as the sun comes up the bedrooms are bright. Some people have no problem sleeping with light, but some wake up and there’s no going back to sleep. Three out of four of us were awake every morning by 6:40 which is a little earlier when you’re on vacation. Please change the Master Bathroom door. It’s a barn style door, which is cute, but it’s not wide enough. That means there are a couple of inches that are open on either side when you close and lock it. (You have to lock it or it will slide open). Everything else was great!
We found this property to be absolutely perfect for our family. The location was excellent and the layout fitted us as well. The proximity to the Sea Wall and beaches, as well as dining and The Strand made it easy to be lazy! We will be back for sure!
The property was clean and very well set up for me and my family. Nice size kitchen and living. Perfect for small kids to play. Close to beaches and The Strand.
We rented this property for Christmas time to spend with friends, just to relax from the daily day to day routines, and it was so peaceful. The property was beautiful and simple. The neighborhood was quiet. Everything was so clean and organized. I’d definitely book again.
Inside is absolutely gorgeous ,clean and spacious. Would likely book again. I was however disappointed with the yard. It had not been mowed or manicured. Overall a great experience .
My family and I loved this unit. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Close to the beach and right off the main street. Found that it really only sleeps 8, not the 10 as advertised unless you have two that like to sleep on a sofa and love seat in the front room and was not happy about the "cleaning fee" charged on a two day stay. Could have used a TV in the "kids" room. We would recommend this unit to anyone. We will stay here for sure next time we are in Galveston and have more time to spend.
