River Front Hideaway in the Southern Oregon Cascade Mountains

This is a custom built home sitting on 5 acres along the South Umpqua River in the peaceful, wooded, Cascade Mountains. This is a great location for swimming, nearby hunting and fishing, hiking and sightseeing.

The house has an open floor plan and covered porches, both front and rear, with a patio off of the rear porch.

This property is perfect for small family reunions and get togethers. It is also a great central location for many day trips. Nearby attractions include, South Umpqua Falls, many hiking trails and several secluded, pristine high lakes, accessible only by foot or horseback. Day trips can include Crater Lake National Park, Diamond Lake Resort, Rogue River, Lost Creek Lake, Seven Feathers Casino, to name a few.
This location has no cell service or internet .. We do have a landline that can call the USA.

This home is beautiful, well cared for, very inviting and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with the essentials and lot's of extras. There are several games, puzzles, movies and even a book shelf full of a large verity of books. You will not be disappoint in this home. Almost forgot there were even fresh baked cookies when we arrived.

If only all VRBO's were run like this. Carrie has perfect reviews because the home is comfy, well appointed, clean and you'd have to be crazy not to acknowledge that she does everything to earn her reviews. We spent a lot of time swimming in the river and fishing and exploring. The teenagers were never bored!

A wonderful river cabin

This cabin is very nice inside with a spacious modern kitchen. There is lots of privacy, room outside to play, and a beautiful river beach. We loved it!

Clean, well stocked home. Private country location overlooking River. Great for relaxing with friends and family. Everyone had fun swimming and floating the river, playing yard games and enjoying nature. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Fabulous home overlooking the river

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights so we could access some beautiful hiking trails in the area. It’s a modern, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with all utensils and cookware, the beds are comfortable and the location is remote and quiet. We loved coming back after a hike and relaxing on the deck that’s right next to the river. I highly recommend this rental! If you stay here come prepared with all the food you need because it is a remote location and not near grocery stores. We loved it!
