The chalet is located in the tranquil village of Hinterschmiding on the edge of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Whether hiking, mountain biking or cross-country skiing - you can start directly from the house. The very family-friendly Mitterdorf ski area is only a 15-minute drive away. Numerous restaurants in the surrounding area ensure culinary experiences. Culture vacationers will also get their money's worth with the beautiful three-river city of Passau (30 minutes) or the World Heritage city of Krumau (45 minutes). Fashion enthusiasts will find themselves in nearby Waldkirchen through the Garhammer incl. Star restaurant 'Johanns' will certainly find it. Depending on your mood, there is something for everyone.
The Swedish chalet is v. a. designed for family vacation. Therefore, a total of up to 6 people are allowed, but max. 4 adults.
