The renovated interiors impress with a very well-kept interior. 2 km away, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is a must-see: the town is known for its artists, its craftsmanship, its Provençal markets and its archaeological site. Pleasant outdoor restaurants and elegant stores line the old, cozy streets with their pretty spring-fed fountains and shady little squares. You'll reside here 15 minutes from a unique mountain village that's officially one of the most beautiful villages in France: Les Baux-de-Provence. In addition to its historical heritage, which includes the Cathédrale d'Image, it welcomes visitors with breathtaking views of the Alpilles. A little further afield: the Pont du Gard, ancient Arles, which beckons with ancient arenas and is known for its spectacular festive spectacles (the so-called Ferias), or Avignon, the former seat of the Pope with its unmistakable ruins of an arched bridge, its city walls and its festival.

Location non conforme à l'annonce.
Peu ou pas de mobilier à notre arrivée (pas du tout comme sur les photos de l'annonce). Propriétaire non présent à l'heure d'arrivée pourtant annoncée par courrier, mail et SMS (on a attendu 1h30 par 38°C). Douche en mauvais état (ce n'est donc pas une location récemment rénovée). Infiltration d'eau dans le plancher d'une des chambres. Jardinet et terrasse non entretenus. 1 seule salle de bain alors qu'il y avait deux salles de bains annoncées : la seconde est une simple baignoire installée dans la seconde chambre sans lavabo, ni commodité : impossible à utiliser, par exemple si l'on est deux couples. Wifi qui fonctionne mal et quasi inutilisable. Pas de chaine Hifi, pas de lecteur de DVD, pas de câble de satellite contrairement à l'annonce. Il a fallu réclamer pour avoir deux fauteuils en plastique pour meubler le salon (des modèles plutôt destinés à l'extérieur et qui seront remis probablement dans une autre location avec piscine du propriétaire). Il y avait sur les photos deux canapés, des fauteuils, des commodes : un vrai coin salon qui n'existait pas. Pas de lampe en dehors des suspensions en papier (l'annonce précisait que c'était joliment décoré) Il a fallu réclamer un parasol. Tableaux mal accrochés et dangereux qui tombent tout seul. L'arrière de la maison n'est pas entretenue et sert à garer une épave automobile qui est arrivée pendant notre séjour sans en être avertis (nous avons dû appeler la gendarmerie qui s'est déplacée). C'est tout sauf une charmante maison de vacances à la décoration très soignée. On a l'impression que le propriétaire déplace les meubles pour meubler ses différentes locations au fur et à mesure des besoins. Il y a un droit de passage sur le côté de la maison pour donner accès à un exploitant agricole non signalé dans l'annonce : peu de tranquillité. Il n'est pas signalé non plus que le jardin n'est pas clos. Pas de portail. Points positifs : la climatisation fonctionne bien, contrairement à celle de la maison mitoyenne. Le propriétaire est aimable et rien n'est de sa faute (c'est de la faute du photographe selon lui). Un courrier de réclamation suivra. Nous signalerons la location à l'office du tourisme. Nous alertons UFC Que Choisir. Merci.
