About this property
Cotuit: Private Beach on North Bay, Central Air, Tennis & Room to Unwind
You couldn't have planned it better! A private beach on North Bay (0.8 miles), hiking around Eagle Pond, tennis, grocery shopping and restaurants and a public golf course are all just minutes from this beautifully renovated one-level home on a quiet cul-de-sac (a few interior steps lead to the sunken living room and sunroom).
The master bedroom features a king bed, a desk/home office nook, an adjacent luxurious bathroom and a private deck. The other two bedrooms — one king, two twins — are done up in coastal whites and blues. All three bathrooms are full and finished with high-quality materials and details.
The sun-filled kitchen, with quartz countertops, a wine fridge and newer appliances, opens to an elegant dining area and a warm, tastefully designed living room.
You'll also find central air, linens and towels provided, high-speed internet, Netflix and Prime included, first-floor laundry, a sunroom and a ping pong table (with rackets) in the garage.
Outside, a stunning stone-paved patio with a fireplace, surrounded by manicured lawn and landscaping, is the perfect spot to unwind and grill after a day at the beach. The outdoor shower with changing area makes rinsing off the sand easy. Beach towels, chairs and an association beach pass are included for your stay. A quintessential Cape Cod getaway awaits — comfortably sleeps six.
House rules: No smoking, pets, parties or events. This home is offered for rental up to 12 weeks per season — book before it's gone. Beach pass replacement fee: $150 if lost.

Great rental house! We loved the location in Cotuit Bay Shores - amenities were wonderful. The house was super clean and the landscaping was impeccable- hosts were thoughtful and responsive and even left us goodies on our arrival! Our teenager loved having his own “wing” and our 5 year old loved being right next us

Thank you , Sarah, for your kind words!
You and your family are welcome any time !
This was a very clean property. After 2 pandemic years, we finally got away with our family to celebrate our 30th anniversary. There was plenty of room to be together and by ourselves. The home was spacious, very clean, and well appointed.

Loved the generous beds and three bathrooms were perfect for 2x2 adults and a teenager! Very wide range of kitchen gadgets and utensils so no need to bring your kitchen with you. Stop and Shop < 1 mile away. Did visit the private beach but preferred the Association beaches.

Dear Julie,
Thank you so much for your kind review and for choosing to stay at our house. It was an absolute privilege hosting you and your family. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to welcome guests from different parts of the world, and having the chance to host visitors from the UK was truly special.
This was a great, very neat house out in a quiet section of woods. It was extremely clean and fresh-feeling and I felt like I was staying in a one-of-a-kind house out of a magazine with a recessed living room and nice patio where I could have my morning coffee and enjoy the natural beauty of the woods. The conjoined walking paths were well maintained and I wish I could have spent more time exploring the area.
The host did a noteworthy job of staging the house to make it feel welcoming and add a variety of welcome snacks and such to make us feel at home. Of the half-dozen places I stayed on The Cape, nobody set things up quite like this and I have to say this property was my favorite.

About the host

We first bought our own home in this Cotuit neighborhood, just as we were starting our family ..our son was born not long after we settled in. We loved it here so much that when the house right next door came up for sale, we bought that one too ..and it's the home you'd be staying in. When we're not hosting, you'll usually find us out deep sea fishing for tuna, working in the garden or walking around Eagle Pond. Some evenings we head to the beach to catch the sunset or fish for striped bass when they're running. Hosting is our way of sharing a place we genuinely love.
Why they chose this property
Cotuit has that quiet, laid-back Cape Cod feel — a real sense of community. We love the walk around Eagle Pond, the sunsets down at the beach and grabbing lunch at Cotuit Fresh Market, which has the best sandwiches and hot table around. A private neighborhood trail runs along the edge of the property ..mostly used by neighbors out for a walk .. connecting toward Eagle Pond and the conservation land. From the patio you may catch a glimpse of a passerby through the tree line, but it's a quiet, residents-only path and a nice option if you want to stretch your legs yourself. Between the pond, the woods, and the conservation land nearby, you'll likely spot local wildlife too ..deer, wild turkeys, bunnies, foxes, and the occasional coyote all pass through. It's the kind of neighborhood where you slow down and settle in.
What makes this property unique
This home was renovated with beach living in mind .. private beach access under a mile away, a stone patio with a fireplace for evenings after the sand and sun and an outdoor shower to rinse off before heading inside. Inside, quartz countertops, a wine fridge, and beautifully finished bathrooms give it an elevated feel without losing that easy Cape Cod comfort. Set on a quiet cul-de-sac, it stays peaceful, but you're still just minutes from the beach, tennis, and local shops.
