Casa Sam was the perfect place for our family to stay in Positano. While the town can feel incredibly busy during the day, walking through the front door of Casa Sam felt like entering a peaceful retreat. We looked forward to coming back every afternoon to relax on the terraces and soak in the incredible views.One important thing to know—and this isn't specific to Casa Sam, but to Positano itself—is that Positano stairs. The entire town is built into the cliffs, so expect to climb a lot of steps wherever you stay. If you have mobility concerns or simply don't enjoy walking stairs, Positano may not be the best fit. But if you're prepared for it, the beauty of the town makes every climb worthwhile.The home's layout worked really well for our family. The main bedrooms are on the upper level, with the kitchen, living room, and beautiful veranda on the level below. A quiet, cozy bedroom with its own private terrace is tucked away on the lowest floor, making it a wonderful spot for anyone wanting a little extra privacy.The terraces are what truly make Casa Sam so special. We spent countless hours enjoying coffee in the morning, relaxing after the beach, and watching the evening light over the sea.
