We booked this cabin for a few weeks for work. Richard was so easy to work with, he checked in on our stay to see if we needed anything regularly, and we had zero issues while here. Great service and stay!
We had such a great stay! We spent the mornings and evenings fishing and crabbing, cooking our fresh catch, relaxing on the porch, and watching some incredible sunsets over the marsh. The camp was very clean, comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We’d definitely stay here again!
We had a great time! Richard was very attentive and stayed in contact before and during our stay. Super comfortable house with everything you need! And very comfortable beds! So peaceful and relaxing!
Our favorite place to stay for a quick weekend crabbing trip! Rlaxing and quiet. The view for the front porch is priceless and the host is the best you will ever get!
A great place to stay and relax. Nearby countless opportunities to fish and crab. The property was very clean and communication with the owner was very easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the outdoors with all the comforts of home.
Wonderful weekend! Plenty of room for a large group and a beautiful view of the river.
This is a quiet, private, and well cared for lodge. One feels at home here. Location is just miles from the Rockefeller Refuge and Rutherford Beach. We will return.
Quiet, relaxing and comfortable place to enjoy being remote and away from the hustle and bustle. Coffee on the back porch watching the sunrise and the dolphins in the river was my favorite.
Absolutely the most relaxing place to stay! Beautiful lodge with sunrises and sunsets from the front porch! Very clean with plenty of space for everyone. The whole family felt like we were at home. Our host Richard was super nice and responded quickly. Highway recommend!
We had a great time. Very clean all the rooms have plenty of room. Beautiful view and kind of secluded area. Owner communicated immediately, answered any questions we had, and would check on us making sure we didn’t need anything. Would definitely stay there again.
Everything about our stay was amazing. Richard, the owner, was in constant communication with me. Everything was clean, well maintained, and ready for us. The house is beautiful and in a great location on the river. Lots of beds and room for a big group. We will be coming back. Highly recommend staying here.
Great hunt/fishing camp and as-advertised overlooking the Mermentau River with 14 queen beds. Our Univ of Louisiana civil engineering group used it as base camp for our community service event. Host was available to communicate and address any questions.
