Have you ever been to a place at night where the stars were so close you felt like you could reach out and touch them? Where you can wake up to the sounds of a running mountain river? If you’re lucky you just might see a great Bald Eagle swoop down from the cliffs. Well, if you want to go some place where nature, quiet, and privacy is important. Then you’ve got to visit the Little Red Tree House on the beautiful Little Red River. Near Heber Springs, Ar., Located in the exclusive Wildflower Subdivision nestled up against the cliffs of the Spring Mountains.

Just think, your own 8 acres and over 200 yards of riverfront. Our dock sits on a hole for pole fishing. We are also 25 yards up river from the famous Libby Shoals, which is absolutely fantastic for fly-fishing.

We have free WIFI and TV with Apple TV.
We offer 4 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms in a spacious 2500 sq. foot home with massive wrap around deck and 8 acres for complete privacy.

The Little Red River is 32 miles of world-class trout stream and home of the world record German Brown Trout (40 lb 4 oz). Four species of trout can be caught - Rainbows, Browns, Cut-throats and Brookies. At the Little Red, you can fly-fish, use artificial lures or live bait. Drive about ten minutes and you are at Greers Ferry Lake. This clean, clear-water 40,000 acre lake is home of the world record Walleye (22 lb 11 oz) and Hybrid Striped Bass (27 lb 5 oz).

The lake also serves as a playground for all kinds of water sports. Eighteen parks around the shoreline provide modern campgrounds, boat launches, swim areas and marinas. Fantastic diving in the crystal clear waters of Greers Ferry Lake.

Even though we are on 8 acres, we do have neighbors and excessive noise especially after 9pm will not be tolerated. Fireworks are prohibited.
Pls clean up spilled messes. No kiddo’s jumping on beds. No pets in hot tub. For safety, max hot tub is 4 people. Please treat our home like your own.
Please honor check out times: 10:00 am No more than 8 people at any time on property. No special events or visiting RV’s without owner’s consent.

This was an amazing property in a beautiful location. Everything was immaculate and well stocked. It was peaceful and the fishing was great! I would highly recommend this property if it’s peace and quiet you’re looking for. It’s conveniently located to town, yet gives you a very private feel. We definitely look forward to staying here in the future. I would give it a thousand stars if I could.

Already planning next visit.

Usually places are better in pictures but this time pictures cannot do it justice. We had an amazing trip and are looking at the calender for next year. My husband caught several diffent kinds of fish. I enjoyed the various wildlife around. This is definitely the place to be.

My 3rd time staying here, always a pleasure! I caught 27 rainbows off of dock. Saw the resident fox twice. House is very clean and peaceful like always. I highly recommend staying here!

Once again Suzzie has done a great job. This place was clean and ready to go. We stayed here last year and it was perfect. Clean and well stocked. The fishing was amazing this year. My sons and grandkids love this place. So relaxing. I am booking it for next year too!!!

Great getaway

This was our second time to stay at the little red treehouse. We had a great time. Did a fly fishing trip with Rouse Flyfishing. Such a great property, in a quiet neighborhood on the river. Will stay again!

The home and location were both good . Very roomy inside and outside . Only disappointment was there were not tv in bedrooms as listed and a couple barstools in dining area would be nice. We enjoyed our stay there

Beautiful view!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in July. We fished off the dock and caught a few trout, fished in the lake, played baseball and wiffle ball in the front yard, enjoyed the hot tub every night and took tons of pictures of the beautiful scenery. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a great time!

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

I cannot say enough about the "Red Treehouse". The pictures do it justice, but you really have to experience to believe how wonderful the house, surroundings and the river really are. We were so comfortable with all amenities provided and really loved the hot tub. Great place to unplug and unwind and yet just a few minutes from town, everything that you could need is there in Heber Springs, but sitting on the porch, you'd never know it.

Great cabin on the river-perfect for a family getaway. Dock-not one better. Deck-perfect with covered and open area. Fire pit-priceless. Really a great place to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Owner SUPER responsive and accommodating. Recommend to anyone-we will return!

60th birthday retreat

We had the best time at the Little Red Treehouse. I wanted a quiet, relaxed place to celebrate my husband’s birthday and this was perfect. We loved the house. It was clean and well stocked. The kitchen counter tops are so pretty, my husband is afraid I want to replace ours lol. Our son lived on the dock all weekend and caught a lot of trout! It was just the perfect spot to hang out with the family. We’re already thinking about coming back. Suzie is a great host!!

OUTSTANDING SETTING

I have stayed at several places on the Little red river. And hands down, this is by far the best overall setup. It was clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. The covered area is the perfect place to just relax. Everything worked perfectly and we will book it for next year as well. And the dock was set up with everything that you need to enjoy sitting and fishing. THANKS for the great experience!!!

Perfect getaway

I loved that the house was on a large private area with plenty of trees surrounding it. The front was gorgeous and had enough parking for plenty of cars. We were provided with more than we needed. Extra towels, blankets, board games, even a spice rack. The deck on the river was a huge bonus. Would definitely visit again, given the chance. 😊

Great place!!!

Enjoyed our stay, house is very clean and comfortable. There's plenty of wildlife around.... red fox, deer, box turtles, groundhogs. The water was high my entire trip, 1 generator running. When water is high, use worms. When no generators are running, use pink power bait. Also enjoyed the hot tub very much!!!!!

Just what we needed

House was exactly as described and well stocked. This was what I expected a house on the Little Red to look like. The interior was decorated like a trout fishing get away should be and the living room is what I want my living room to look like should I ever have a similar place of my own. The trout were being a little stingy, but we did catch a handful from the dock. What we did catch an abundance of were irreplaceable memories with the family and (more importantly) with my 2 boys on the dock. It was exactly what I wanted, and this dock delivered in a big way. Thanks so much for an awesome experience.

perfection!

The Little Red Tree House is just the perfect place on the river. We ended up being able to check in a couple of days early which allowed us to be completely snowed in at the cabin! It was an amazing experience! The cabin had everything we could possibly need. We cooked and baked all meals in the kitchen. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the hot tub and we used them daily. However, the real treat was the dock and the fishing. We caught trout every day that we fished. It was so much fun! It was a plus that we were able to bring our dogs and it was great that we could let them off leash on the property. However, we did see an eagle very close to the house on two days that we were there so we kept a close eye on the dogs after that! Suzie was very quick to respond to any messages and we enjoyed showing her pictures of the snow. It was a great trip and we can't wait to get back. They really have thought of everything! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your wonderful home!

We stayed four nights and it wasn’t enough! The view is every bit as amazing as the picture, in fact the picture doesn’t do it justice. The property is clean, well maintained, and has everything you will need for relaxing stay. Suzie is an an awesome host who is as hands on as she needs to be or as hands off as you want. She responds promptly and professionally to every need and even gave us a list of suggestions for local cuisine. The only thing she can’t do is make the fish bite 😁. We we’re not very lucky in that department but enjoyed ourselves tremendously anyway and will most likely be back for another visit and yes I would recommend this cozy little cabin to friends and family.

Peaceful and Beautiful Home and Property

We rented this property because we wanted to be on the river and take our 2 dogs. The location was perfect, the size of the home and outside deck were perfect, and the gigantic front yard is great for dogs to play (supervised, not fenced). The house was spotless and the kitchen was stocked with anything a family could possibly need. There is a large nice private dock on the river with seating and a boat slip accessed by platform steps leading down from the house to the dock. My husband grilled every night and loved the charcoal grill (even though there is also a gas grill). The host was always quick to respond to questions. We even had an incident with a wasp and the host contacted maintenance. Maintenance showed up within the hour and not only brought wasp spray, but he took the extra time and found a wasp nest that he took care of immediately. I really can't say enough good things about this property and host. Absolutely Wonderful Vacation!

Great relaxation & fishing!

Beautiful home & one of the cleanest we’ve rented. Plenty of dishes, towels, seating, linens, etc for a group. The kitchen has all the pots & pans & cooking utensils you need, plus many small appliances (crock pot, ice cream maker, blender, etc). The fishing was good, but it was really hot. So that slows them down a little. We only fished from sunrise until maybe 9am due to the heat. We caught average of about 2-3 per day in that short time, which was enough for dinner each night, so we were happy with that! The dock is huge & perfect for fishing or accessing boats/kayaks. There is a pretty major highway across the river. You can’t really see the cars, thanks to a heavy tree line. You may be able to see more traffic in the winter, due to no leaves being on the trees. The traffic sound can get loud when you’re on the fishing dock. But you don’t hear it at all from inside the house or from the decks/yard. The yard/land that the house is on is in a super quiet neighborhood, at the end of a street. We may have seen 2-3 cars the entire duration of our stay (a week). So it feels very private & secluded. The hot tub on the deck is a perfect place to relax & enjoy the view of the river & the bluff. There are TVs in the living room & in the downstairs bedroom. They have Apple TV, so we were able to login to our streaming accounts, which was great! They also did have some streaming services logged in, so you could watch theirs. The internet worked great!

I booked this property for my husband and 4 of his fishing buddies. They have stayed at the Little Red Treehouse several times before and absolutely love it: the house, the area, the decks, and the dock! The only negative was the inability to access Libby Shoals (without driving all the way around there) because of the overgrowth of the riverbank. They felt like if it was cleaned up an kept cut back, that they would be able to wade over there, or at least try to.They are already planning to go back next Spring!

Our parents purchased this property in the late nineties and we have enjoyed bringing our family here for many years. We love sharing our home with folks that want to come and enjoy all the offerings of the area and the wonderful trout fishing right off our dock.
