Beware the extra fees

My husband and I really enjoyed this property - the cleanliness, kitchenette, gym, pool, proximity to beach and strip. However, read about charges carefully. An additional fee consisting of about 20% of total charges was collected by resort at time of check-in.

Hidden Fees & Dishwasher Broke

VRBO had a $35/night + $50 on-time charge hidden fee with additional Hotel fee. Of course, VRBO like the Property Manager will say it was in the details; however, it is disingenuous to not clearly highlight an additional cost that is 20% more than the VRBO listing. Further, the dishwasher in the unit did not work, property manager couldn't fix and no one offered a way to make that right.

The costs are not hidden, they are clearly noted in the listing description. Unfortunately as we agree the costs are high, it is the building that defines them. We always encourange our guest to do their due diligence and read all the details. In regards to the dishwasher, it broked and we already repaired it.

Great location & Responsive host

Most everything about the property is convenient. The unit has a partial beach and ocean view. It's modern and clean. The property building and grounds are kept clean. There's a rooftop bar and pool onsite. The property is basically less than a block from the beach. You get free chairs from the beach chair company. The valet is required but it's convenient if you're driving offsite and back. You request your car to be brought around via an app a few minutes before showing up at the valet. What impressed me most was the responsiveness of the property management. I called to report the coffee maker was damaged and to request extra hand towels. Someone was at the door within 30 minutes with a new coffee maker and hand towels. What's even better, I pointed out rust inside the microwave. They replaced it with a new one before the day was out. I requested a late check out, for a fee, due to having a late departing flight. I was able to handle the transaction via a link the management team sent me via text, while I was at a beachfront bar. The management team exceeded my expectations when it comes to attention to customer service. I definitely recommend this host and the property for a relaxing, comfortable stay.
