Half Dome is a beautiful, Gold rated, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom home situated in a secluded setting that sleeps up to 6 guests. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, a dishwasher, a gourmet Wolf range, and a sub-zero refrigerator/freezer. The living room has a grand rock fireplace (firewood provided in season), central heating and air, a flat-screen satellite TV, and WiFi. The second bedroom also has a satellite TV and an iPod docking station. The large, private deck has seating and a built-in gas BBQ for outdoor relaxing, grilling, and dining. South Yosemite stay

The cabin id spacious with lots of amenities and a great location. It’s about 45 minutes away from Yosemite valley. The house is large enough for four adults or two adults and several children.

Great location. Very comfy. As listed. Great outdoor eating space. I suggest food kept in the fridge is above lowest shelf- our veggies froze. Looking in the guest book I saw others had similar comment. Otherwise great stay. Highly recommend.

Yosemite Getaway

We both really enjoyed the cabin. While Wawona is a little drive from the Yosemite Valley area, it was great to be staying inside park boundaries. The cabin had everything we needed (could have used a few more wash cloths, though). Overall, a great place to stay.

In the spring, the rivers and waterfalls throughout the Park, including nearby Chilnualna Falls, are nothing short of awe-inspiring.

During the summer, you have the opportunity to relax in the south fork of the Merced River & cascading waterfalls. Enjoy a hike to nearby Chilnualna Falls, the Swinging Bridge, and the Meadow Loop Trail. Visit the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Enjoy fine dining and play golf at the historic Wawona Hotel, go horseback riding, fishing, enjoy Ranger walks and talks, or visit the Living History Center/Pioneer Village.

In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Wawona Hotel. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

In the winter, the family-friendly Badger Pass Ski Area offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.

In any season our Wedding and Event Center is open for all occasions! Whether it's for a group ski vacation, business training, a family Christmas or Thanksgiving get together, or a reunion of any kind this is the perfect spot for all to gather. Our Wedding and Event Center comfortably seats 100 for group meetings, and 80 for formal dining. There is a large open deck with a fireplace, and inside there is a second fireplace along with a separate Board Room and Catering Kitchen.
