Great location. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed, enough clean towels for an army, generous supply of FREE firewood.Country motif in the cabin a bit over the top but very much as portrayed in photos of property. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Great little cabin! We stayed for one night and enjoyed ourselves. Small market is one block down which came in handy! Removed one star for cleanliness bc there was a mug left out when we arrived and some cobwebs on the windows in the bedroom. But otherwise felt cared for and homey.
The cabin was an absolutely perfect choice and experience. It is inside the park so you can skip all the daily long lines in traffic to get in. We arrived at night and could just breeze right into the park. The location is a bit of a drive (50 min) from the valley but that alone is a beautiful drive through some of the most amazing forest areas. The kitchen was fully ready for any kind of meal prep and the deck was nice. Plenty of parking in front of the cabin. The host was gracious and provided all the necessary information to make the stay easy and fun. There is even a small general store a 2 minute walk from the cabin.
The house was so cozy and comfortable. It was decorated so cute and fun. We would stay here again. The house and kitchen was fully stocked to cook and prepare food.
Everything was perfect. The cabin is in a wonderful quiet location, it was really well equipped, comfy beds and sofas and large beds perfect to ease tired hiking legs in the evening. My only regret is we were not here long enough! There's a beautiful fireplace that we had the fortune of enjoying. Hope to return one day
Loved the house! It was so cute and cozy and even had festive decorations! It was very accommodating for us to bring our dog! The street was a little hard to navigate, luckily we came in before the sunset, but it was difficult to see the street sign from the main road. Would have liked if the listing mentioned the required fee entrance to get into the National park. Other that those two things, would stay there again!
Love the cabin and all the furnishings very well equipped. We wished we could have stayed longer. Very quiet and well situated. We will be back.Thank you
Location was great. Property was cozy and clean. We had a great time.

Great stay! Has everything you need and there is stores near by. Only downside is hardly any signal. There is wifi at the cabin. Cabin is clean and spacious for a family. Will definitely rent again.

About the host
Hosted by Mary May
I have been coming to Yosemite since childhood and dreamed of someday owning a cabin in Wawona. As a native Californian, we visited Yosemite often as a family. My family hiked, rafted, and spent time together in this magnificent wonderland.
Why they chose this property
We chose this location due to the close proximity to the South Fork of the Merced River. In the Spring, you can hear the river and enjoy the seasonal stream. There are oaks and pines on the property and the location is perfect for relaxing on the deck.
What makes this property unique
The peacefulness of this location and the charm of the cabin makes one feel right at home.
For pet owners, there is a small fenced area for your dog to roam.
