Rental Agreement: Immediately after booking, the rental agreement displayed at checkout will be sent to you via text and email for E-signing. Kindly E-sign this within 48 hours to finalize your reservation. You will also need to upload a photo of the ID associated with the credit card on file. This is solely for fraud protection purposes. E-signing allows you to go straight to the property upon your arrival, instead of coming to our office to sign and get a key!

Welcome Guide: One week prior to arrival, a digital welcome book will be sent via text message. For the protection of our guests, the guidebook will not be given out to anyone except the person who booked the property. The guidebook will have your special door code, address, local recommendations, and much more great info to help you prepare for your trip!

Access to Yosemite and Nearby Attractions: Yosemite National Park now uses a reservation system to help manage visitor numbers. Good news — since this home is located inside Yosemite National Park, you do not need a separate park reservation! Just show proof of your lodging when entering the gate (check the official Yosemite website for current details). Keep in mind that access to certain park areas can sometimes vary, especially during peak or snowy seasons. Staying flexible and checking conditions ahead of time will help you make the most of your adventure in this stunning region.

Kitchen: The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, cups, silverware, and more! Our housekeeping team provides salt, pepper, and a can of cooking spray for your use. Occasionally, previous guests leave behind items such as spices, aluminum foil, or ziplock bags. You're welcome to use any of these, but please note that our team does not check for or restock them, so we can't guarantee what will be available. If these items are crucial to the success of your vacation, we recommend bringing them along to ensure you have everything you need. We try to clearly state this in the listing so there are no surprises.

Linens: Did you know that our vacation homes are among the few in the Yosemite area to feature professionally laundered linens? For every reservation, all linens are cleaned in commercial-grade washers using hypoallergenic detergent that's stronger and more effective than typical residential options. They're then pressed at 300°F—nearly twice as hot as a standard home dryer—to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and freshness. It's an extra step we take to provide a truly clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.

Fireplace/Firepits: No open wood-burning fire pits, bonfires, or campfires are permitted at short-term rentals. Charcoal grills of any type are strictly prohibited. Guests shall not bring any personal grills, barbeques, or other outdoor cooking apparatuses to the short-term rental; only those grills, barbeques, or other outdoor cooking apparatuses provided with the short-term rental are permitted to be used as installed and in the location installed.

Pets: This property IS dog friendly! Please indicate that you will be bringing a dog when you make your reservation and a $100 dog fee will be assessed. This $100 covers the entire stay, and is not a per day charge. There is a 2 dog maximum at the property. Please do not allow your dog on the furniture or leave your dog in the home unattended and use a leash when outside, per county ordinance.

Parking: There is enough parking for 2 cars at this property. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. Please be mindful to obey speed laws and drive slowly in residential neighborhoods!

Garbage: Garbage truck service is not available in this area. Yosemite Park requires visitors to "pack out" their garbage. There are several free bear proof dumpsters within walking distance of the cabin where you can dispose of your garbage.

Security Cameras: There are external only cameras on the premises that face certain entrance points of the home.

Snow Chains: California Highway Patrol and the National Park Service may require chains in wintery/snowy/icy conditions. Please ensure you are bringing a vehicle and necessary equipment capable of navigating in these conditions.

Insurance: Travel Insurance is provided as an option during the checkout process. Please note that as hosts, we cannot protect your trip from flight delays, illnesses, weather, job loss, or other circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. We truly wish we could! We STRONGLY suggest purchasing some type of Travel Insurance so that you may protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. It's a nominal cost that can absolutely pay off!

Mail: Due to locked neighborhood mailboxes, we ask you not mail anything to the property. You are most welcome to mail items to our office (Love Yosemite! Vacation Rentals) in Oakhurst. Please reach out to us to make arrangements.

Pests: Please note that this property is nestled in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains, offering a wonderful connection to nature. While we take regular preventive measures, including professional pest control, occasional visits from local wildlife—such as ants, spiders, insects, mice, or cobwebs—can occur. If you notice any of these during your stay, please let us know so we can promptly address them and ensure your comfort.

Neighbors: Please do not trespass on the neighboring properties. We appreciate you respecting the local neighborhood!

Maintenance: In case of emergency - Management and Management's representatives and agents have the right to enter the premises, after making reasonable attempts to contact tenants, to make any necessary repairs to maintain the health and safety of the tenants or the property.

No Smoking: The Smoke Remediation Fee will be a minimum of $500 for smoking in the house and could be higher depending on the extent of the damage.

Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are from 10PM to 8AM everyday. This is a quiet, mountain area so limiting noise during these hours would be appreciated by the locals who call our area home.

Check In: Check in is 4PM or anytime thereafter (it's self check in, drive safe!).

Check Out: Check out is 11AM or anytime before.

Lost items or left items: Management assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or abandoned items. Reasonable effort will be made to contact the Guest for return. There will be a $35.00 handling charge PLUS shipping costs for any found items returned at Guest's request. Management shall not be held liable for the condition of said items. Any items not claimed for longer than 30 days may be donated or sold.

Simple Checkout Instructions: We understand checking out can be stressful and hectic, so we have implemented some of the easiest checkout procedures in our industry.
1.) No need to start any laundry, we'll handle it all off site with our professional linen company.
2.) If you have time to start the dishwasher, that would be helpful.
3.) The nearest dumpsters are just around the corner. From Cedar Ln, turn right on River Rd and the dumpsters will be on your right.
4.) PLEASE return any furniture you may have moved during your stay (especially outdoor chairs).
5.) Most importantly, please note our checkout time is 11am, not 10am like over 80% of vacation homes in our area! Our housekeeping team runs on caffeine and tight schedules, so they sure do appreciate you leaving on time!
Lastly, don't forget to get a photo with your family and friends before leaving!

Family Yosemite Weekend

The cabin is in a perfect location to the South end of Yosemite - close to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Seqouias. Also an amazing hike and nice waterfall in walking distance. It's a good cabin but the carpeting does really need to be replaced.

This is a great location, inside the park and close to Wawona store and hotel. House is very spacious, with 3 bedrooms and additional space with sleeping sofas in the living room. Amazing big TV, and lots of games. One plus is a beautiful deck where you can eat outside in summer months.

Comfortable stay

3 generation group 1-69 and everyone was comfortable. Plus: inside park so you do not need to try and get a pass (which we hear is hard), spacious, well equipped kitchen, decks, grill, comfortable beds, quiet even with close neighbors, good small market near, check in and out easy, all instructions/managing tasks super easy, close great river hike. Minus: dirty, stained carpets.

Solid stay at the cub house

The house was a great set up for our family away from the major touristy spots and inside of the park. It’s about 45 minutes from the bigger town of Oakhurst if you want to do main grocery shopping for the week. I would recommend going to the swinging bridge, which is a short and quiet little hike near the house. It’s about an hour drive into the Yosemite valley main attractions. There is a small store on the road where the house is and a little bit bigger one just five minutes away with limited hours, but more necessities available.Cozy beds, lots of blankets and pillows for all. Loved the fusbal table, washer and dryer, and big deck with a BBQ. Nice new appliances and a new appliances and flooring. The kitchen had pots/pans and mostly everything you need but note that you will need to buy everything from olive oil to every type of spice as there was only salt and pepper along with some stuff for coffee, but no actual coffee filters (or a dust pan). The house was fairly clean, but definitely needed a dust job throughout. We would stay here again.

Cub House

We enjoyed staying in the cub house. It worked very well for our family vacation. However, the couch beds truly need to be replaced or just provide air mattresses. They are busted and old and we ended up sleeping on the floor. The cub house is well equipped to host and even had ample seating! The dishwasher didn’t clean very well and the oven took for ever to get to temp. Besides that it was a great stay. Loved the location.

Wonderful stay at the Cubhouse!

Our daughter got married this past weekend at Yosemite Chapel in the valley and had her reception at the event center at the Redwoods which is only a couple hundred yards away from the Cubhouse. The kitchen is updated with new appliances and well stocked with all the equipment you need. The living room area is very spacious and the floorplan very practical. We chose this cabin because we brought our two dogs and this home has a deck is enclosed with secure fencing and a small dog run, so they were safe to run outside. The staff at Love Yosemite was extremely responsive to ourquestions and a few needs that we had. Great experience, highly recommend.

Awesome customer service! Cabin wasn't ready on time and there were some maintenance issues but those were not deal breakers. Cabin has a bad ant problem-we had to buy ant spray and even then they got into a lot of our food. Suggested improvements: put a dresser in master bedroom (there was one when Redwoods rented it) and have room in master closet for clothes- had to wedge things in next to ironing board and dryer. Have some cupboard space for food (kitchen was very well stocked!!). Have more hand towels - 1 pet set. More Light in living room - a table and lamp next to recline chair would have been perfect! Perhaps umbrella and a chaise lounge or two on deck though the table that's out there is great. Deck is awesome and dog yard is super convenient. Having AC in heat wave was wonderful and appreciated. Love that there was lots of room for everyone and the baskets of goodies were a really nice touch. Washer and dryer were handy and got used- nice to come home with clean clothes!!! Ice maker in fridge was a nice luxury. Thank you for letting stay there- we had a wonderful trip!!!

Nice mountain cabin with a lot of potential, but disappointed

Very nice and spacious cabin, but could use some TLC and better cleaning. On the day of arrival we found mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinet in and around the cookware. Initially thought these were old, but found droppings on day 2. We hand cleaned all the cookware and dishes before use after this discovery. Water pressure in kitchen sink is terrible and takes forever to warm up. Dishwasher is small, dated, and not ideal. Make sure you run the hot water in the sink before starting the dishwasher or the washer pods will not dissolve. The property manager, Steve, was very responsive to email. His team dropped mouse traps off for us and I did finally trap the mouse on our last night. This is a mountain cabin so understand this does happen, but given the nightly price and cleaning fee, I am disappointed with this situation. The master shower drain backed up with water. Steve sent maintenance out promptly who snaked the drain that same evening. Appreciate the quick action! Really appreciate the communication with Steve, but would have like to see some compensation offered on the cleaning fee for all these issues in a 4 night stay. Pros: -Large and spacious living area and kitchen table, accommodates a large group. -Large and well functioning outdoor grill with spare propane ready to go -Outdoor fenced in pet relief area -Property manager was responsive to email and provided nice communication including advice on obtaining wood on the way to cabin in Oakhurst -Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cookware -Heating system functions well and kept us nice and warm -Cozy fireplace Cons: -Does not have a "clean feel" -Found mouse droppings -Water pressure is poor in the cabin, takes all several minutes for the hot water in shower and kitchen sink -Issues with shower drain -Carpets not clean -Large crumbs under the mattress in the pull out couch

Huge disappointment

The start of our reservation should have been a clue. The manager sent an obscure email that was easy to miss (instead of using the vrbo app) to provide us with an access code and we were not able to check in. There is no cell reception at the property, so we had to drive around to find a spot with reception. Finally we had to go to the neighbouring property where they were kind enough to let us use their phone to call the management company to get the code (apparently we were not the first guests to have to do this). That was an hour out of our vacation. During COVID one would expect that the property would be deep cleaned with all high touch surfaces being sanitized and cleaned thoroughly between reservations. That was clearly not the case here. It is a good thing I brought sanitizing wipes. I cleaned door handles that were visibly dirty as well as kitchen cabinets handles. They were SO DIRTY. I disposed of a bunch of wipes when my son suggested I take pictures of the disgusting wipes. They were BLACK. After being thoroughly disappointed, we sat down for dinner. Was I glad we did not turn on the fans. There was such a HUGE accumulation of dust on the fan blades. And that is what we could see from our seats. Yuck! (I have pictures). Once you see that, you question cleanliness and sanitation of everything in the house. The dishwasher had an old dish tablet stuck in the dispensing drawer. It was just sitting there all caked on (have pictures). You know the dishes are not cleaned well if the tablet didn't even dissolve. And it's COVID time. Needless to say, we went to buy disposable everything as soon as we could. The kitchen has a grout and tile counter and it is old and looks dirty (again, I have pictures). The fridge looked clean and the bedsheets looked clean. Then to top it all off, on the last morning we discovered mouse poop on the kitchen counter after we had already packed a bunch of stuff and had breakfast (have pictures of that too). I just couldn't believe it. I just hope we don't get sick. And the house was SO RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. The toilet in the smaller bathroom leaked constantly. The house is dingy, dusty and dark. The microwave did not heat anything up after attempting repeatedly to heat up our soup. Finally, we just had it cold.

Half Dome Hike

We came to Yosemite to do the Half Dome day hike. The house was about an hour away from where the trail head is, but that’s what we wanted! We were away from the touristy crowds, in a really peaceful area. The house was perfect, with all the comforts of home. Smart tvs, good heating, Wi-Fi etc. we were thrilled with the experience and would for sure rent this house again!

Cabin in the woods

The cabin is well appointed. Plenty of linens, towels and cookware. Kitchen is stocked better than my own! Greatly appreciated the popcorn and goodie bag upon arrival. While the cabin is somewhat dated it was comfortable and met our needs quite nicely. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the yard area. The beds were comfortable but very soft (in case you are a fan of harder mattresses). The only criticism I could give was that the sheets don’t seem to fit well and kept coming untucked. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great getaway for families visiting Yosemite

What a great way to have your own space to vacation with your family. The house had plenty of room for the six of us. Well supplied kitchen for making large meals. Large dinning room table that can fit 10. Nice spacious Living room with 3 full couches so we could spread out. Nice large fireplace! Back patio with two tables, one that fits 10! A nice fenced in dog run with disposal station (great feature!). We stayed 7 days and had a blast exploring the south end of Yosemite (Wawona area). Then spent the the last half of the week in Yosemite Valley. Even though not much was open due to COVID, we were still able to get out on many available hiking trails and enjoy ourselves. The property mangers were very accommodating and attentive. I would highly recommend this property.

Comfortable home in a nice setting

I think we were one of the first guests to stay at this rental because there was brand new pots and pans (very nice) and new comfortable living room furniture. Unfortunately the furnace was not working but the property management company had supplied us with firewood and room heaters so it worked out fine. The TV is set up with the LG Streaming service and nothing more so no local channels are available so be sure to bring your own streaming device if you want more. The kitchen is well stocked but be aware if you are coming with a large group that the dishwasher is a small one so bring paper plates!
