About this property

Charming country house with pool in a fantastic location

Les Calades is a charming French country house in the beautiful surroundings of an authentic old village in the foothills of the Cevennes. Numerous leisure opportunities await you in the area, the sea and beautiful rivers and lakes are not far. The cities of Nimes and Montpellier can also be reached in about 30 minutes. You can also set off on beautiful hikes directly from the house or simply do a tasting in the numerous wineries on site.
The several centuries old natural stone house has just been extensively renovated and offers modern comfort in a French country house ambience. Natural stone walls, old beams and a large open fireplace in the approximately 50 square meter salon await you. In addition, the property includes a large, beautifully landscaped garden which is completely closed, as well as a pool for shared use with the holiday home of the owners next door (but these are not always on site).
The house was completely renovated and refurbished in 2015, the pool was only completed in June 2015.

A comfortable, spacious and well equipped house

We had no problem finding the house, and Tim was waiting for us as arranged to show us round. Everything was as described, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable (which is not always the case even in top-price rentals) and the big shower was lovely. We made good use of the barbecue too. We had visited the area a few years before, so we knew about Nimes, Sauve, Quissac and Sommieres, and we made several excursions to new places this time. Uzes Saturday market was well worth the trip, as was a visit to Montpellier (Thanks, Tim, for both recommendations!). And don't miss the train ride from Anduze - we combined it with a visit to Anduze market which was worth the trip in itself. Our time went all too quickly. Thank you, Patrizia.

Wo essen wir denn heute Abend? Im Wintergarten? Am großen, antiken Esstisch im Wohnzimmer? Oder ganz vertrĂ€umt unter den großen BĂ€umen im Garten? Das war jeden Tag unser Thema. Klar war: Der Aperitif wird am stimmungsvoll beleuchteten Pool eingenommen. Das Haus selbst ließ auch keine WĂŒnsche offen. Blitzsauber, top ausgestattet, liebevoll aber nicht ĂŒberladen dekoriert. Badezimmer neu, KĂŒche perfekt ausgerĂŒstet. Wir waren Anfang bis Mitte Oktober dort. Jeden Tag strahlendes Wetter. Corconne und Umgebung leer, ruhig und von imposanter Schönheit. SupermĂ€rkte und BĂ€cker ca. 5 Autominuten entfernt. Idealer Ausgangspunkt nach Arles, Montpellier, SĂšte, Nimes, Avignons

Un trÚs bon séjour en bordure des Cévennes

La maison est bien équipée, vaste et agréable (la véranda par les beaux jours d'hiver est un régal...). L'accueil est cordial et les personnes qui vous reçoivent font tout pour vous rendre service. Le village de Corconne est trÚs petit et est le point de départ de belles ballades dans la garrigue (il faut de bonnes chaussures). Quissac à 7 km offre tous les commerces nécessaires. De l'avis de tous nous avons passé de trÚs bonnes vacances de Noël. Merci a Tim et Patrizia.

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub

Wir waren im Juni 2022 zum ersten Mal GĂ€ste dort und hatten die Empfehlung von unseren Nachbarn. Es war alles so wie beschrieben und vereinbart. Ein sehr schöner gepflegter und großer Pool, eine große Außenanlage, die komplett abgeschirmt war und dadurch auch ideal fĂŒr freies Laufen von Hunden geeignet ist. Der Wohnraum ist angenehm groß, die KĂŒche bietet alles an Ausstattung, was benötigt wurde. Eines der drei Schlafzimmer ist besonders groß. Das Bad ist gepflegt und hat eine tolle Dusche mit viel Platz. Oft haben wir den Grill am Außenkamin genutzt und bei Poolbleuchtung den Abend ausklingen lassen. Danke fĂŒr den tollen Urlaub. Sicher kommen wir einmal wieder!

FĂŒr uns ein ideales Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck und Dinner unter den großen alten BĂ€umen, den herrlich großzĂŒgigen Garten mit seinen blĂŒhenden OleanderbĂŒschen, den großen, perfekt gewarteten Pool, wir haben alles an diesem Feriendomizil genossen. Hervorzuheben sind auch das schnelle Internet in Haus und Garten und die wunderschöne, grĂŒne Gegend um Corconne mit vielen tollen Ausflugszielen im Gard und in den Cevennen oder nach Montpellier. Herzlichen Dank an Frau Loacker fĂŒr das Vermieten des Ferienhauses und beste GrĂŒĂŸe an den ausgesprochen freundlichen Herrn Forman, der eine perfekte Übergabe gestaltete und bei Problemen zur Seite steht. Wir kommen nĂ€chstes Jahr gerne wieder.

Schönes und gemĂŒtliches kleines Haus mit großem Garten und tollem Pool - genau das Richtige um eine Woche lang mit Hund und Kindern einfach nur zu entspannen. Ein wenig schade, dass der Ort selber fast keine Infrastruktur hat, aber eigentlich will man sich hier auch gar nicht wegbewegen. Vielen Dank fĂŒr eine wunderbare erholsame Woche!

Super séjour trÚs jolie cadre et propriétaire trÚs accueil

Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille et entre amis dans cette maison. Endroit trÚs calme et trÚs joli. Belle vue. Maison spacieuse disposant de tout le confort nécessaire. Néanmoins si vous souhaitez la télé en français pensez à prendre votre chromecast. Repas pour le midi ombragé sous de jolis arbres. Et piscine super avec plein de transats et de matériels pour jouer dans la piscine.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un trÚs bon séjour du 26/12 au 2/01/21. La maison est trÚs jolie, spacieuse, confortable, la literie au top, la cuisine tres bien équipée....La belle et grande cheminée est un vrai plus en hiver. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir! Traumurlaub trotz Corona-Ungewissheit

Bis zur letzten Minute wussten wir nicht ob wir reisen können. Wird es zum Risikoland oder nicht? Es wurde nicht. Zum GlĂŒck. Ansonsten hĂ€tten wir ein ganzes Jahr auf einen Traumurlaub in den Weinbergen warten mĂŒssen. Dank der GroßzĂŒgigkeit der Vermieterin wĂ€re das kein Problem gewesen. Wir hĂ€tten den Urlaub einfach schieben können. Das Haus ist einfach nur perfekt. Seit Jahren machen wir Urlaub in FerienhĂ€usern und seit Jahren kaufen wir irgendwas dazu, was uns fehlt. In diesem Jahr: Nichts. Es ist alles da. Und sehr gut gepflegt, authentisch und gemĂŒtlich. Die Betreuung vor Ort ist perfekt, Tim ein sehr sympathischer und aufmerksamer Ansprechpartner. Der Garten ist großzĂŒgig, perfekt von ein Mauer umgeben, sodass wir unsere Hunde, darunter Linus, der Ausbrecherkönig, problemlos und ohne Sorge laufen lassen konnten. Sehr schöne Sitzgelegenheiten, auch wenn das Wetter mal schlechter ist, geben die Möglichkeit sich nahezu nur draußen aufzuhalten. Der Pool ist einfach nur klasse. Groß, gepflegt und herrlich erfrischend. In der Umgebung gibt es unzĂ€hlige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben nicht annĂ€hernd das gesehen, was wir uns im Vorhinein rausgesucht haben. Montpellier, schöne StrĂ€nde, mittelalterlich anmutende Dörfer mit bezaubernden MĂ€rkten und die wunderschöne Schlucht bei Corconne, keine 5 Gehminuten entfernt fĂ€ngt sie an. Wir waren begeistert. Liebe Frau Loacker, wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Drei schöne Schlafzimmer, liebevoll eingerichtet und ein super schöner Pool. Gut ausgestattete KĂŒche mit Mikrowelle, KĂŒhlschrank mit drei EisfĂ€chern, Herd, Backofen, GeschirrspĂŒler usw. Es fehlte an nichts

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus hat Charme, die Einrichtung ist liebevoll und die Ausstattung in der KĂŒche und am Pool ließ an nichts vermissen! Den Pool können wir nur hervorheben. Er ist wunderschön angelegt, das Wasser ist top, Liegen und Schirme sind ausreichend vorhanden und auch Luftmatratzen etc. stehen zur VerfĂŒgung. Die Kommunikation vor Ort sowie mit Frau Loacker waren sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Hier möchten wir ein besonderes Dankeschön aussprechen. In dieser Zeit der Corona- Pandemie wir blieb uns bis zum Letzten Tag die Option, zu stornieren. Das fanden wir großartig. Vielen Dank! Wir Kommen bestimmt wieder.

Une grosse déception

Nous sommes arrivĂ©s dans cette maison situĂ©e au beau milieu du village. Les fenĂȘtres du salon et des chambres donnent sur la rue. Le rez de chaussĂ©e est trĂšs sombre. Il est impossible de sĂ©journer dans la partie vĂ©randa: la chaleur y est intenable. Il est impossible de manger dehors: pas de salon de jardin. La chambre parentale est plutĂŽt agrĂ©able mais le matelas est trĂšs poussiĂ©reux. Les deux autres chambres sentent le renfermĂ©. Tout cela sans parler de la chaleur qui avait imprĂ©gnĂ© les murs en cette fin d'Ă©tĂ©... Il est difficile de se prĂ©lasser Ă  la piscine: peu entretenue, remplie de gravier et de guĂȘpes mortes... Il nos a fallu une nuit pour nous dĂ©cider Ă  quitter les lieux...
